Looking back to 2011, Khan was the young and upcoming star at the time and Judah as right at the tail end of his illustrious but controversial career. Khan schooled Judah with blitzes of lighting speed and thudding combos for the best part of the fight before landing a hard low blow, strutting off like a turkey, claiming the KO.

Fast forward 8 years with a very similar situation playing out in front of our eyes last night with Crawford v Khan. Amir, the faded and damaged former champion took a beating and went out in similar fashion as his old foe Judah. Boxing is a cruel sport.

Khan Judah the ref rules a knock down and counted and Judah milked it by taking the count

Khan vs Crawford was ruled low and he quit despite having 5 minutes to recover

It’s not even the same scenario

Congratulations, you failed to read past point 1 of the OP. I'm more interested in the reverse of roles for Khan as he went from the hero to heel. Khan is at the same point in his career as Judah was in 2011. I find that ironic.

It's completely different. First of all Khan's shot on Judah landed squarely on the belt-line. It wasn't a low blow. You can clearly see Judah's belt protector collide with the punch. Judah was also trying to clinch from a position where he was hunched over. The trajectory of Khan's shot to the belt-line of Judah was nowhere near as low as Crawford's shot on him.
