Do people honestly think Teo Lopez has a chance against Loma?

Before the fight everyone was rating Tatli .Yeah, he is not a bad boxer. But I knew it wouldn't last the distance. But now that T LO stops Tatli out comes the Tatli ain't all that. Look TEO didn't look his sharpest in the fight. Tatli is not a guy you blast out quick. If anything Teofimo facing slightly better quality boxers that are not going to make him look spectacular everytime. TEO has these guys backing up real quick though and he has a hard time finding them.Make no mistakes he's the boss in there. He would boss Linares and Crolla without a problem.

 

Floyd at pound for pound number one, has a guy with ten fights causing some hype against absolute scrubs, is calling him out. Do you expect Floyd to respond and seriously consider the fight?

Then consider Lomachenko’s desire to unify and create a legacy. Then consider that he said “Sure, I’ll fight Teo when he has a belt”.
Then consider that you’re saying these absolutely idiotic things here. Slap yourself and develop a brain.

 

Nobody should have been rating Tatli. Tatli fights backing up because he has no power at all (look at his KO ratio). The fact that he landed everything he threw against Teo and looked just as skilled (and better defensively) was just a bad look for Teo. I’d only seen highlights of Teo before the fight, now that I’ve seen him I’m just disappointed that Lomachenko doesn’t have a serious opponent to fight against there.

 

But that's true. Loma's been trying hard to act like Lopez doesn't exist. He never mentions his name directly, usually uses "some others" or "he" at best.
The reason for that was to not feed this crazy Lopez-mania even more, but now it's becoming quite strange, frankly speaking.

 

Top Rank backed on undercards, knockouts (context doesn’t matter), saying ridiculous things/making ridiculous claims, piggybacking off established names, eye catching celebrations. It’s a perfect recipe for undeserved hype.
It’s hard to look at because I know he doesn’t have the talent to back it up. I hope he has the resilience to bounce back from his loss that is coming up, I hope that this talk is just a persona he has adopted and that there is some genuine humbleness and willingness to get better hiding away somewhere. All I see is Jeff Lacy 2.0 right now, and that might be too generous to Teo.

 

This is boxing. Of course Lopez has a chance against Loma. How much of a chance though is a question. I wouldn't put it above 10-15%.

 

He has a chance but Loma is the absolute clear favorite. Intuition tells me that Loma schools him. This is an unbiased opinion. Something crazed Loma fans need to learn.

 

Teofimo Lopez has a punchers chance but that’s it

 

Teofimo at the very very least has one chance, the puncher's chance. But, obviously, he has more than this one.

If you think that a guy who hits like teofimo hits has no chance vs anyone (whoever) then.... well, then I dont know what to say.

 

Think Loma has just too much of everything for Lopez.

However, if hew beats Commey, he will absolutely have earned his shot and would legitimately be the 2nd ranked LW.

Scoring aside, I think the 12 rounds last night will be great learning experience for Lopez.

 

He's a big mouthed kid .. we've seen hundreds of Lopez' before.. he's not as advertised.. people just need Loma to have a boogeyman or they'll not be able to sleep at night..

 

And Tank would KO Teofimo Lopez as well & probably faster than Loma

 

TR should look to make Lopez vs Linares if Lopez can get past Commey.

 

Why would they want Lopez to take a loss?
