A fight I would like to see - but not pay box office for ... & that’s the problem. I miss out, as do many other fans who resent being drip fed over hyped PPV fights. Getting fed up of this now.
Ben Davison said a few weeks ago that they thought Oscar Rivas wasn't suitable because he's too short to use as a tune-up for the likes of Wilder and Joshua.
Is this worthy of PPV? The answer is yes as it will do the required numbers needed to be a PPV. Unfortunately people view PPV on how big a fight is however it has nothing to do with that With 2 World title fights (Edwards and Okolie) plus Parker/Chisora plus Allen/Price plus the main event, then I will probably buy it.
Oscar Rivas? The guy who has a low profile and doesn't speak English? The same reasons used by Whyte to play down King Kong lolol
It’s a decent heavyweight fight but I will wait for rerun as like most I believe it’s not PPV . I like Dillian and admire his principles but I am not funding them . Rivas seems like he can punch at the level he has been operating and far from a risk free fight for Whyte .
No issue with the fight itself, it's actually pretty good but by no means PPV worthy. Would need a super stacked undercard.
I don't like it being ppv but I will end up buying it as usual so won't moan too much, I will wait for the under card to be announced
The beauty is that Whyte is showing the world how brave and courageous he is... All you fools putting him down, when you got Tyson Fury fighting Schwarz... AJ fighting a nobody next... And then we have Whyte fighting a risky opponent in Oscar Rivas for NOTHING... no mandatory status... just his WBC Silver and WBO internation belts... Another risk taker... and you monkeys wanna talk about who's ducking who... GTFO here you lame ass job seekers. Whyte is a PPV star.
