Ruiz has fast hands but no range or power to trouble AJ. Joshua KO's him in 7 if it happens.

I like it better than a lot of other options out there to be honest.

I much prefer the the Hunter fight. Ruiz isn't a bad option though, gave Parker a good fight ( I had Parker winning it only by 2 points) and he schooled Dimitrenko with ease this weekend. A tougher opponent than Breazeale and obviously levels above Schwarz.

Not for me, I understand the lack of options but this would be just as poor as Miller to be honest.

Personally I want Ortiz now, just so I can either be shut up or to shut up the people who for some reason (a reason I haven't seen) worship the old man.

Let's just squash this Ortiz debate once and for all, it needs settling one way or another and with Miller cheating and Fury/Wilder tied up is there better opportunity or better available and willing opponent?

    Not bad.

This is a much better fight than Miller. Ruiz would make Miller quit in 10.

    Looking forward to this one.

Michael Hunter stopped Ruiz in 4 rounds in the ams, Hunter also beat Oscar Rivas (Whyte next opponent). Hunter should be getting the opportunity if boxing and Eddie Hearn were fair, but he has really high chances to win that fight and to make AJ look like a fool, so he is not getting this opportunity for sure. AJ has been training to fight a fat heavyweight, that why they call Kownacki as fast as Miller tested positive, they don't want an opponent as slick as Hunter, so they are choosing Ruiz instead

Miller was a contender with a few solid names under his belt.
    Ruiz is a ****ing joke.

Didn't he recently say again that he was taking the sport seriously? Only to show up at his highest weigh in years.

**** Ruiz, he would only show up for a paycheck and waste everyone's time.

    All of it.
Ruiz has some talent but he has completely wasted it. His greatest achievement is giving Parker a though fight.

No way is he a better fight that Miller. Miller actually trains, unlike Ruiz.
Ruiz is just a fat plodder with speed and power. All he does is walk forward throwing a predictable 1-2.
His resume is **** poor and he has looked absolutely dreadful on numerous occasions.

The man doesn´t take boxing seriously at all. How anyone can get excited about him is beyond me. He was 260lbs in his last fight

Ruiz jr isn't a household favourite by any means but I've been hearing names like Chisora and Charr getting mentioned so I'll take the fat guy all day lol.
