Their resume doesn’t meant ****. Don’t even know why you brought it up. It comes down to skills. Crawford has more skill. There is nothing about Canelo that would trouble crawford at all. Itd be an easy fight. Don’t even think the judges could rob Crawford.
You're vastly underrating GGG, the reality is GGG is just as good on the front foot as Crawford is on the back foot. However Golovkin is far better on the backfoot than Crawford is on the front foot. Golovkin is every bit as skilled as Crawford. And who exactly has Crawford beaten that's anywhere close to Canelo's level? Trout and Lara are Crawford level, they're just in a tougher division with more pound-for-pound talent, which is why they've looked at times as beatable as they have. Crawford will too when he fights a top fighter at Welterweight.
You expect me to believe a guy who just moved to 147 and isnt a big puncher is going to have a chance in hell to beat a guy who has fought as high as 168 and at 160 handled the punching power of one of the sports biggest hitters and is built like a brick sht house? That is the definition of absurdity. The fight would be over when Canelo lands one clean shot on Crawfords face. And before you try it FlIVd drained Canelo to 152, he was 23 and most importantly Crawford is no FlIVd defensively.
I disagree with this. Canelo has the better defense, hand movement, can fight in the pocket better, and he is actually a slightly better counter-puncher. Even if Crawford was a natural 160 pounder he isn't going to completely dominate Canelo. Canelo is an exceptional fighter and I would favor him to beat Crawford if Crawford moved up. That is fair. If Crawford was to had fought prime Brook (who fought Porter) he would've probably had lost.
Maybe Crawford can make it interesting for a couple of rounds, up until Alvarez gets to him. And if he doesn't, don't believe Terrence can win enough rounds clearly to get the nod on the judges' cards either.
