Plenty of guys qualify for this one. Nikolai Valuev Brian Nielson Tracy Spann Tavoris Cloud Seth Mitchell (reality caught up with him eventually) Joey Gamache Jaime Garza (this one might be controversial since Garza was extremely dangerous. His Zarate/Olivares like record was radically overinflated though)
Ottke was a really good amauter fighter that was probably on the downside by the time he turned pro. I believe he benefited from some home town judging in a few of his fights but he was a very good boxer that couldn't punch worth a crap. His style didn't really translate to a lot of fans but he definitely was talented just not exciting to folks that don't like his style.

Hatton and Ottke were very good. They may have fallen short of great but both were top notch. Hatton in particular was P4P top 5 and 10 for 4 years....you don’t get to that level without being very good IMO
