Great for the sport if it happens, we need more of these kind of fights in boxing. If Joyce loses his career is on the rocks, if Dubois loses he has plenty of time to rebuild and still become a significant player in the heavyweight division.

A proper Heavyweight fight this year at last and a fight to look forward to unlike the 4 pay per pudding Heavyweight 'fights'

You'd have to give Warren big credit for throwing Dubois in with Joyce. The way it should be but doesn't happen often.

I watched Joyce live at the O2 against Stiverne and was genuinely shocked how slow his hands and feet were. Great move switching trainers to Adam Booth and feel that could be a major factor here. Agreed that if DDD lands as clean as Stiverne did then Joyce is going over. See this being over inside 3 rounds but pure entertainment...

Yes, but don’t think he has a choice, with Sky lining up Allen Price -Parker Chisora - Whyte Rivas, Warren needs to generate some interest in his fighters to compete for viewing figures and potential PPV’s down the road.

We don't know much about DDD's stamina and chin since he hasn't been tested yet. But if they are ok he's got a very good chance against Joyce. Joyce is easy to hit and a strong , powerful , come forward type like Dubois who has a good offence will give him loads of problems.

Certainly will be a decent fight. And if Fwank makes it i'll be mightily impressed.

The British title is a prestigious achievement and an important step for those wanting to go on and try and win world titles. This fight gives it the kudos it deserves. Huge credit to both of these lads for putting their zeros on the line and I hope the loser doesn’t get written off.

Personally, I think Joyce has the edge, more experience, he’s fought higher level opponents. He has the size and a prolific punch output. That said, he ships too many shots and Dubois has the speed and power to bingo him.

Joyce by stoppage but I would be chuffed to bits if Dubois proves me wrong and announces himself as the real deal.

Good fight, fair play to both.

I'm in the Dubois camp with this, I haven't been blown away by Joyce. Close fight though.

No disrespect to Sexton or Cornish but this is more like it, a proper showcase of British boxing talent, I would have liked to have seen Hughie defend it though, shame.

Can see this postponing the Allen/Price fight as the winner would surely vacate afterwards leaving those two to fight for the vacant belt.

Great fight- odds should be 60/40 in favour of Joyce based on experience and what we’ve seen so far.

I just jumped to the last page, has this fight been confirmed? If it hasn't how likely is it this happens? Genuinely excited about this fight, hugh fan of both fighters and really couldn't pick a winner yet.

Just had a look at the odds for this fight and it's something you very rarely see; both fighters 10/11.

Depends who wins of course. If Dubois won, i don't see a reason for him to vacate unlike Joyce who I don't think he'll be wanting to hang around British level for too long.
