Paulie Malanaggi, he was focused and calm, that was his best performance
imo. He was on fire, very quick with good combos and timing. He was a great offensive fighter in his prime, who happened to have a poor chin and so was KOed alot

Lol ducked him? Stfu if Mayweather fought Amir Khan and beat his ass it woulda been oh he beat Prescott left overs blah blah blah if Amir Khan was his ABSOLUTE BEST HE MIGHT HAVE WON 3 RDS BEFORE FLOYD TIMED HIM EVERYTIME WITH A LASER RIGHT HAND remember floyd can fight going backwards so he would just step out of range of those bull**** flurries Khan cant fight a lick going backwards which is why he gets put to sleep every fight cause he can only go forward and throw horrible combos fast but God awful for an elite boxer on wilder level of no technique chin held high and out just terrible your Clearly a fan boy....

Easy to look great when you fight a guy that couldn't knock out a 10 year old school girl great showing

    Let's see:
Barrera - old old man at the time, plus pretty much 2 weight divisions lower. Khan still got buzzed with a punch and only won on a technical decision after a head clash (which let's face it should have been stopped earlier for an NC - yet it was allowed to drag on so a TD could be givven).
Peterson - erm, Khan got beat
    Judah - old and shot
    Malignaggi - really? so waht.
Kotelnik - decent enough fighter. Solid, not great.
Maidana - very good win, although got ***** slapped, rocked and beat up for periods and ended up running/hiding for teh latter part of teh fight to avoid being KO'd. But still, decent win.

    khan was good in prime

can't knock him for taking on good fighters and winning some like maidana, no doubt

he was a force to recknon with but now he is SHOT to bits

time to retire and move along... forget the brook fight too....brook is a desperate fraud whose whole career revolves around khan, even bought ring side seats to watch crawford khan lmao

I agree that the initial criticism of Khan here was daft - but do you really believe Mayweather ducked him? That's a joke. When exactly was Khan a viable opponent whose form warranted a shot? Maybe, at a stretch, in late 2011 after beating Maidana and Judah in style and unifying a couple of belts. But even then, he was a weight class below Floyd, was already signed to fight Judah when Mayweaher came back to brain Ortiz, and then promptly lost (albeit unfortunately, in my eyes) to Peterson. Mayweather's next fight was going up in weight for a much bigger fight against Cotto, and soon after that Khan got splattered by Garcia. Since then, Khan's been more interested in being a celebrity than being a great fighter. Inactive, talking his way in to bigger fights etc.

Khan back in 2010-15 was a very decent fighter, but never a special one as his extremely chequered and inconsistent record against the bigger names shows. He had nothing that Mayweather wouldn't have been able to deal with.

I don't recall him side stepping anyone on Crawford's behalf.

A mediocre fighter wouldn’t and couldn’t have had their way like that with Judah, malignaggi, Alexander and collazo. All those guys have one thing in common, they lack power and are boxers.

I don’t think comparing what Crawford (a guy with power) did to a past it khan to what mayweather did to Kahn (a boxer with no power at ww) is a fair comparison. Floyd literally ducked him to fight the man that khan best for less money after thy fighter lost the Twitter poll.

It’s one of the most blatant ducks given a pass, ever.

The time when Floyd put up a poll on who his next opponent should be, Khan won that poll and beat maidana, he beat maidana both in the polls and in a real boxing match.

    So:
    - khan beat maidana in the poll
    - khan beat maidana in the ring
    - Khan was by far the bigger name and money fight

    But floyd fights maidana anyways?

Just because I am criticizing him, means that there is hatred?
I was watching back then, and it was obvious that he was extremely flawed.

He always was one dimensional but just a really good athlete.

Agree with the Malignaggi fight. He would always step off the line after throwing his combos. He feinted, was constantly moving and never just stayed in front of Paulie.
But then a few years later he would just stand in front of his opponents, chin up high. Rarely setting up his offense and getting countered because of it.

Khan in his prime was a tough fight was anyone in his division.. His handspeed was elite alone, of course he had flaws but he always had heart to go with it even with his poor chin gave it his all and some entertaining fights.

He had a good run, clearly now he past his prime and lost a step or two, a prime Khan was a 50/50 fight vs Crawford..

Khan should hang em up now.. Without his main weapon his hand speed its tough vs the top fighters . Watching back the Crawford fight even though Khan was losing the fight he was still in it landing some good shots at times but clearly not the same fighter he once was..

The hype will continue long after he's retired, I fear. Look at the lingering hype/nostalgia goggles even today around Ricky Hatton, a guy I like way more than Khan but if we're being perfectly honest probably accomplished less in his pro career.
