Says the guy who thinks the 2012 OLYMPIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION needs MORE TIME in 2019 to get used to heavyweights?

How ever could the Olympic Heavyweight Gold Medalist and Fighter of the Year for 2018 - a dominant pound-for-pound champ who has stepped in the ring weighing more than 200 pound for every fight he's had this decade - EVER manage to get acclimated to heavyweight without "testing the waters" first. (sarcasm)

And WHO EVER HEARD of a champion moving up one weight class and immediately fighting for a title? IT's UNHEARD OF, I tell you. I don't even know if that sort of thing would be allowed. (sarcasm)

It's just too much to ask of such a tiny fighter like Usyk. (sarcasm)

You have to be NOT VERY BRIGHT to think Usyk could manage something so treacherous. (sarcasm.)

Neither, because since Joshua is the A-side, it's going to be the same problem for any B-side Joshua opponent, an UNEVEN playing field in favor of Joshua, one way or another or perhaps even in multiple ways. In other words, every Joshua fight is pretty much tainted and has an asterisk written all over it.

 

I'd rather see Hunter get the shot since he actually looks the part and won't come into the ring looking like a fat pig. Ruiz makes Arreola look ripped.

 

If Usyk fought AJ on 1st June and lost, AJ would not get the credit he deserves. Many would be quick to point out he is a CW and he should’ve had a few fights at HW and what on earth was he doing fighting AJ on such short notice.
There isn’t going to be a problem getting this fight made as Usyk doesn’t seem to give a crap about money or where he fights and is also promoted by Matchroom.
AJ fighting Usyk next only satisfies the hardcore fans, and they still won’t be fully satisfied given the caveats above.

 

Both are tough outs and have a legit chance to pull the upset.

Hunter for me - I think it will be more competitive.

 

Usyk fights in the UK, his only chance is a KO. even then he might lose.
