Hearn confirmed they have argreement with opponent and the fight should announced tomorrow if not Sunday.

 

Hunter or Ruiz I would guess.

 

Again, I’ve said from the start if it’s not Hunter I’ll be shocked.

 

I actually think it's going to Andy Ruiz now. Saw quotes from Hearn yesterday where he was being quite complimentary about him and talking him up a bit.

 

Get ugo ugonoh signed upup for it. Much better fight than Ruiz or hunter. Danger he could get knocked out in a round or two but also the risk he could do the knocking out. Got to be him or Ortiz. No one else really brings anything of interest to the table.

 

Considering his only "notable" opponent was Breazeale and he was knocked out by him in 5 rounds, that's a terrible opponent.

Ruiz is much better qualified, based on his razor-close loss to Parker alone.

 

Ruiz looks physically dreadful and it won't look great if AJ KOs him fast.
But he's a better fighter than Jarrell Miller anyway.

 

Offering Ortiz less than Miller when it’s a more attractive fight for fans and he’s saving the card does seem a joke...

 

No, if either Ugonoh or Ajagba boxes AJ the fight will surely be in Nigeria. Would be an amazing event for the country.

 

Ortiz would have actually cost more than Miller. It's just that Ortiz's promoter takes such a big cut that he would have ended up with less than Miller.
