yeyo monster, the hate on here shows otherwise. History shows us that elite fighters that are outside of UK/US are being hated hard. Exactly the GGG cause.
And with all the respect to Canelo, but Golovkin resume atleast in my book, and in many more i guess it`s 40 - 0.

 

There's a fair difference between being a yes man and media savy. I think it would be expected that Sanchez be gracious about the offical score but supportive of his fighter. Not say 'G lost' when to most people it was a hottly disputed decision. If that was Sanchez's opinion he should've told GGG privately..... like elite coaches do in other sports.

It's not. When Mayweather made 300 million in Pac fight he didn't pay his coach 10 percent.

 

I donn't agree you on almost all of this.

He may not be 'obligated to lie' but if you have a long standing professional relationship and a friendship with someone you use your words with consideration to that whether or not he thought GGG won or lost.
Anyone who has spent anytime with the media knows that they will ask questions that can lead to controverisal answers. Binary questions. You don't say yes or no. You give the third view. eg:- Q- 'Did you think G won'. A:- 'he fought the fight he wanted and was able to follow his game plan. I thought he fought well'. No controversy, no headlines business as usual. Behind closed doors is the place for brutal truths.

 

His coach is his dad thats obviously an exception

 

Too Old School? so loyalty is new school. I'm simply saying that talking to the media is a game and if you don't play it smart you end up in the middle of s***situations. I don't demand any answers. Straight shooters are great but there's a time and a place man and selling your guy out in the media isn't either of those. 'F*** hurt feelings' - Abel also has hurt feelings so you want to F*** him too? You keep trying to turn this situation into this guys 100% right and that guys 100% wrong. Life doesn't always work that way. Abel owed GGG some loyalty and the media nothing regard;ess of the result, the judges, b/c they were a team.

It’s good that he looked at both the fighter and the trainers point of view and made good points for both.
