I got to ask though. Does a win over donaire do a lot of good for inoue? I mean its donaire who has something to prove and lets be honest inoue is expected to win the whole tournament anyways. The only good inoue will have for beating nonito is it will be the best name on his resume and that's it. Im happy for donaire i really am but ill be honest his journey to the finals wasn't really the best
Inoue for me beats Rodriguez then goes on & wins the WBSS by beating Donaire . After this he could move up & face Roman/Vargas/Navarrete.
Donaire is lucky that Tete had to pull out. Young was lighting him up, and winning some rounds. Inoue takes the whole thing. Hopefully they get Tete vs the Coward, I mean ducker, on the undercard of the final.
Rate him in what sense? I already rate Inoue highly, I was firmly on the bandwagon long before most Boxing fans knew about him...I've the guys on here to thank for that but he's always been a guy I held very highly and every since he was a sprout. The fact he continues to exceed expectations by smashing guys and smashing them super early is mind boggling. I am sure there's a quote from me somewhere a few years back saying (somewhat tongue in cheek) Inoue could potentially rival Manny in getting belts in 8 weight classes. Now he did skip the Flyweight division so in reality he should be a 4 weight champ as is, and there's no reason he couldn't win belts all the way up to 135. The odds of him going that far are extremely slim as he can make a fine legacy much lower than that.
(Rate him in what sense?) I should have said p4p where to rate him & he's smashing guys is mind boggling as you say. In the first round he does not seem to rush in to get the KO it's like he's worked out what to do in say the first sixty seconds. After this he moves in for the kill & it's all over for what ever boxer he's facing.
Check out Inoeu training he looks like he about to morph to Super Saiyan the kid is faster and hitting like there's bombs going off on the mitts. Rodriguez is in trouble. I think this kid is just about to hit prime and OMG anyone stands in his way is going down.
Inoue is about to hit his prime right now. He's looking like something else. Expecting an impressive performance in the UK.
For me, Monster Inoue may win by UD and somewhat similar to the Magdaleno fight. Team Monster would not risk slugging it out with the veteran who still has one-puch counter left hook KO power at the weight, especially since Inoue has youth and speed to utilize after all. With Donaire a beaten face and with Inoue rocked once or twice. Donaire still got dependable chin, only a big Walters of higher weight class put him down so far, not even Rigo. They would probably utilize pinpoint accuracy and movement, which would be quite wise. Or Donaire may win by devastating counter left hook just like his previous wins (even his latest win for example) due to his vast experience, or late complacency of Monster somewhat similar again to the Magdaleno bout.
