I'm not doing weights right now since I feel that they do little for my boxing. Cardio and exercises with my body weight is far more beneficial. If I was 20 years younger and trained full time I might have benefitted from incorporating weights as well, though.
As for the topic, the punch looks pretty legit to me. Sharkey's reaction perhaps seems a bit exaggerated, but not to the point where I would claim a dive/fix without supporting evidence.

My sister used to work for those murder experience weekends that you can attend. The story lines often involved her being poisoned, and having to go down realistically. She hurt herself a lot at first, but she said that her method was generally to go to her knees first, then take it from there. I don't think that she ever considered going face first to the floor!
