So he's definitely coming back! Good. Hope he fights someone decent like a Michael Hunter or Andy Ruiz, before AJ rematch or possibly Whyte. Stay away from Fury. If he's with DAZN he wont be offered to Wilder as an opponent. 2017 version for sure. He's 2 years removed now and AJ you imagine is a lot better with more experience under his belt. He'd beat Whyte, be 50-50 with Wilder. Loses to Fury, Usyk and Joshua.
This. What good is money when you don’t have good health to enjoy it. Wlad being able to retire with good health after a career as long as his was a miracle it itself, but if he keeps pushing his luck he’ll end up like Ali or Joe Louis.
Any comeback attempt by Wlad is foolhardy at the very least. He's already lost to the top 2 guys. The third guy is an animalistic puncher (his kryptonite). Whyte, Ortiz and Kownacki are also all big hitters. Parker can hit, has an excellent chin and decent enough handspeed to make it a bad night for Wlad. Povetkin and Pulev have already been beaten by him, no one wants to see that **** again. There is no point in Wlad coming back.
What makes him SHOT??? Obvious we have very different opinions on what shot means. No one could make a sensible case for wlad being shot, just stupid trolling
Agreed. Shots means no reflexes, coordination, no legs. Wlad is aging not shot. He was also more courageous in his last fight than he ever was before and boxing is 80% psychological
He could still compete but this is beyond stupid. We see this time and time ago with athletes, especially boxers.
He could easily go on a two year win steak if he sticks to fighting the type of guys he faced during his own era. Otto Wallin would be a top 10'er if he was around during Wlads era. lol.
Huge fan of Wlad. Great Champion he was, but it`s all in the past. He should have called a day after a Pulev or Jennings fight. He wasn`t the same past Manny. And that fake trainer he appoint - big mistake that was. Very bad decision with letting Banks "coaching" him. Even he admited that he was training by himself. Banks was there for support. But no one even listen to him .... James Ali Bashir back than would be better. Trainer should be the boss otherwise you are in a trouble. Anyway Klitschko is not the same boxer without Emanuel Steward. If he returns it will be pure for the money. It`s very hard to reject 80 or 100mil., no matter how much money you have in the back. Esp. if your career end with a lose. And i don`t agree he will be top 5 nowdays. Lost a lot of speed, reflexes, his cardio and punch rate wasn`t the same even in a Pulev fight. Throw and land a lot less than he usually does. Same with Jennings and getting worrse and worse with Fury and Joshua. Accuracy has gotten worst. If he returns i expect him to be KOed.
He was clearly past it in the last 3 fights of his career. Against Jennings he was hesitant and shot shy, the same against Fury where he didnt throw anything until the 12th round Against AJ he was better than those 2 fights but he didnt finish AJ when he was hurt, then he himself gassed horribly and was caught by an AJ ambush attack and stopped. Its not a great ending and its age related. His results and performances wont improve much if he gets back up to a top 10 level. Once you get into your late 30s as a boxer your are in a serious biological decline, and that will show in the ring.
