Perfect example of a born puncher.

Povetkin and Danny Garcia are absolutely great shouts but prime Donaire's left hook is my favorite. One of the fastest, most dynamic, and lethal punches ive seen in the modern era. All three hook and deliver their hooks differently and I appreciate all of them, but for my money, Donaire has the best hook ive seen inbthe modern era. I love how Garcia has multiple ways he can disguise his hook and deceive his opponent when throwing it, and he counters with it beautifully. Povetkin...... What an underrated fighter. Id say hes actually and clearly the most skilled of the three, especially with his ability to throw/hook in combination, double and triple up on it, and transition to it from other punches. It's a shame he isn't as appreciated as he should be, he is extremely skilled with a great pedigree and the best schooled of this bunch. But speed, power, dynamicism(is that even a word?), and electricity of Donaire's left hook will always trump all those other great hooks and attributes.

Naoya Inoue has a lovely left hook. Often thrown as a check hook counter and his left hook to the body is brutal.

Lomachenko is close to, if not on top in pretty much every facet of boxing. He makes everyone else, look like mere mortals. And I'm not just referring to raw power, but overall quality, which includes accuracy, timing, set-ups, variation and so forth so on. Nobody in an overall sense can match Lomachenko or even come close. The moment you get compared to Lomachenko, is the moment you are doomed to look like a mere mortal in the process whilst getting your flaws exposed, left, right and center.

In terms of raw power though, it is undoubtedly Gassiev for me. He easily scored the most brutal knockout I've seen with a left-hook, out of any other active boxer today.

I still rate Povetkin as the best boxer in the division, just too old and too small for the super HWs. He´d need a Usyk level engine to beat all the giants. Too bad Wilder dodged the bullet..

Yeah he's the best boxer in the division not to have a title. I mean, even Charr, who he destroyed, has a strap.

Yeah for all his skill, power, and toughness he's giving away serious physical disadvantages against your modern day HW giants

16lbs, 4'' in height, and 6'' in reach to Wlad

Just under 24lbs, 4'' in height, and 7'' in reach to AJ

And both Wlad and AJ are ripped at their respective weights whereas Povetkin would probably be a CW if he was in absolute optimum condition.
