This guy knows how to promote fights. Go to the 35-minute mark, in which he tells Mario Lopez that Wilder should show up to the fight to meet Joshua face to face:

Will Wilder still need to ask Her Majesty, HRH Anthony "Prima Donna" Joshua for permission to enter the ring?

Maybe if he does a curtsy bow with a limp looking wrist he will be allowed to look in AJ's direction.

    Eddie can do one.

So now he’s inviting him after previously having a restraining order on him in Cardiff. Ok Hearn.

Hearn has two options here to prevent it from kicking off or spiraling out of control if it does, if Donkey was able to somehow summon the courage to show up that is .

    1. He can hire William Deets as security for AJ in case Marglassos Wilder tries to sucker punch him.

    2. Make sure a couple of the drug testers from VADA are there to request a urine sample of Marglassos, no way Marglassos shows up if he catches wind of that and if he doesn't show then neither will Donkey without his backup.

Eddie better be careful what he wishes for. Deontay won't be alone. The bomb squad will be with him. And they'll deal with the bodybuilder, the same way they dealt with Dominic Brezeale, and his goons.

Is there anyone else in the Bomb Squad? I've only ever heard him shout it

Actually Wilder refused to go because he was worried about "security" .

This is simply not true. Both Hearn and Joshua warned Wilder that he wouldn’t be allowed in the ring. Then when Wilder said he’s not coming, Hearn said “of course I would have allowed him in the ring”.

They completely shat it. Now they are claiming that they want Wilder to confront Joshua in MSG?

Wilder sounds like a total wuss - "wouldn't be allowed in the ring". LOL

Wilder was invited as a guest pundit of Sky Sports. He had full permission to be there and would most likely have come face-to-face with Joshua anyway (as well as being paid). It was Wilder who shat it. Hearn's point was that he hadn't signed a contract (as Wlad had done before their face off) and he didn't want Wilder using Joshua's name for self-promotion when he had no intention of taking the fight. TO THIS DAY Deontay still can't be tempted to take the fight for a 9 figure payday.

Major-General Deontay Wilder must march his bomb squad up to New York and oust the invading British.

Hearn has changed his tune from the ducking years of 17/18.

He stated that he wouldn’t allow him in the ring unless they had essentially agreed to fight. I.e Wilder isn’t getting free publicity to demand more money.

I mean, the man already wants 50/50. Can you imagine if his profile was bigger?

It’s all irrelevant anyway until Wilder fights Breazeale. If he performs really well then I expect he may just show up. If he doesn’t perform well, then I expect he’ll be healing his broken bones that he sustained “in training.”

I don't see why Wilder should be expected to spend money on a plane ticket and pay an extortionate price for a ticket to AJ - Ruiz for no benefit.

If he wants the fight, it would be much easier and reasonable for Wilder to ask Al Haymon to call Eddie Hearn and work out a deal.
