Well, he's certainly persistent, I'll give him that. Kind of like trying to get rid of a huge gob of gum from the tread of your brand new Nike Air, or some real sloppy doggy doo that you can only remove with a pressure washer

Good old PBC. This is a 2 headed thing though. Stage 1, DUCK. Stage 2, try and blame it on the other side. But then its no shock is it? We all knew they were lining up opposition for Deontay that was not Anthony Joshua. LOOK AT HIS RESUME. He is THE most protected fraud in the sport. I was saying this about him years ago and literally nothing he has done has shown me i should be changing my mind on that.

Wilders schedule will be Ortiz , Kownacki , Arreola and maybe Breazeale again if he loses bc we know he'll get a rematch despite rules of mandatory positions of its agreed upon in contract.

This goes well beyond 2020 with others as well like Fury.

They never wanted Joshua and never really will unless Wilder takes a loss so anyone still chasing this fight is equivalent to a dog chasing his tail.

The only way the WBC title will get prized away from Wilder is if he accidently fights a live opponent like he did when he thought Fury had nothing left.

Actually had to fight a decent fighter in his last fight and he wants none of that again for a while. It’s clear to all he thought Fury was finished otherwise we’d have never got the fight.

How there are people still excusing this or worse maintaining that its Joshua that doesnt want the fight is beyond me...

Usyk will be a massive test... i could easily see him beating AJ and the AJ/Wilder undispiuted fight never happening

True , I do miss some of the crazy things he comes out with tho . Expecting him to come out with some AJ is ducking Ortiz essay tho and it has not turned up yet . Haven't seen him posting for a few days now .

Disappointing but not exactly a surprise. Kownacki and Ortiz already let the news out of the bag.

The question now is if we will even see a unification fight in 2020. After the Ortiz and Kownacki fights, it seemed like Finkel was more eager for the Fury rematch than an AJ fight.

Is anyone other than a few delusional fanboys really that surprised. The louder Wilder shouts about wanting it the more he moves further away from doing anything to make the fight.

It will be Breazeale, then as a voluntary Ortiz then Kownacki most likely as mandatory in 2020 as Whyte is again frozen out.

They'll keep marinating this fight hoping it reaches stupid levels like Mayweather/Pac, that's the only way Finkel and Haymon risks it, if it never gets that big then they'll simply never fight.

Wilder is a fraudster that has no intention of getting in the ring with Joshua, he only fought fury because he knew he was coming off a long break and couldn't have been a hundred percent back to his best.

I think Finkel needs to be PED tested. He is on SPEED or something. 6 months ago he was unable to talk to Hearn about the Joshua fight because he was going looking after Wilder who was yet to fight Fury and you should only concentrate on 1 fight at a time. Now hes laying out his work load by the year?

The WBC with PBC will not allow a unification to happen against two foreign fighters let alone AJ . If Usyk takes AJ's place it will be the same thing as before . Honestly I have given up any hope of Wilder fighting anyone outside the US who can cause him a problem . AJ , Usyk , Whyte , Povetkin to a degree . Hell he only took Fury on because Fury was the worse he ever been . If Fury gets back to his old self Wilder will duck that fight claiming he wants it no more , in fact isn't he saying that already ? .

I have given up on any idea of hope for a unification fight between AJ and Wilder a while ago . History is the greatest teacher and nothing has changed . Lewis being a US based fighter with US promotions struggled to get a unification fight going and then controversial DRAW! . Bruno was way passed it when the offered him a title shot which he should of got like 3 or 4 years previous .

In hindsight the Klitschkos have been actually very good for boxing , as they stopped the monopoly of the US . Like Ali said in his defense of being stripped "I'm the World Champion that the US has no right to strip" . I love the USA I'm proper pro-American , but when it comes to sports they are all about money , power and business , why do you think their sports suck ...... Baseball , Basketball , American Football . They are near enough they only nation that plays these sports and again it's about money , moving clubs to LA or whatever such nonsense .

We're most likely never going to see the fight. Wilder turns 34 this year so he'll be in decline soon and will be upset by a handpicked opponent sooner than later.

The Heavyweight division is so embarrassing. At least Usyk is there now, but I don't know if anyone will want anything to do with him. Can you even imagine what an Usyk-Wilder fight would look like? Think of the 3 opponents the supposed "best HW's" in the world are fighting. It's beyond annoying, as it's now just pointless and boring.
