Ive seen you go on and on about the pull counter and slip and also the tripple right argument before. What world beater did he pull those off against? Its one thing to pull that stuff off against Carlos Baldomir or some face forward punching bag than it is against a slick world class fighter. And way more goes into all of that than speed, like positioning, timing, anticipation, judge of distance -- and not only that --landing a pull counter and slipping the opponents counter is a rehearsed boxing movement that is practiced repeatedly and comes ingrained into a fighters muscle memory, its part of who they are as a fighter. Not all fighters fight alike, not even two slick fighters. Under that premise JMM is faster than Pac man. Brother, it's you who doesnt know what they are talking about. And beating someone to the punch all night long, again, has much More to it, actually the same aspects as I previously mentioned, than just raw speed. FMJ's fastest attribute was always his mind. He started taking over fightsbafter he had timed and adjusted to his opponents. But one thing that helped him accomplish all of this including what allowed him to so successfully fight with his style was his reach, which against almost all opposition he enjoyed an advantage against, and at worst was equal to his opponent or was at maybe a 1 inch disadvantage.

Deal with it, Crawford is bigger, longer, stronger, more powerful, faster, throws in better combination than Mayweather ever did and a stationary Mayweather isnt potshotting his way to victory against someone like that or repeatedly landing pull counters and slipping the return or trippling up on anything and landing on Crawford. Crawford moves to well, is too good a judge of distance and also master of it, is too accurate, throws in combination too well, is too slick, and has too much head and upper body movement for single pot shots to have devastating accuracy with any consistency.

Being another mans cheerleader makes you look effeminate, which I know your not so I suggest you stop and accept that your boy wasnt an unbeatable boxer, and there is nothing wrong with that, he had a long, distinguished, undefeated and ATG career.

No doubt. And without Al Haymon and USADA in his back pocket, Floyd would have never been competitively fighting against/beating world class fighters above LW.

You know at some point you have to wonder why more people don't agree with you and why the poll is so lop-sided and it's for a reason. Anyone who knows boxing knows that PBF is a better and more completer fighter than Crawford is and far more accomplished. Don't get me wrong Crawford is elite but he's no PBF.

BTW it's not easy to do pull counters because if it was everyone would be doing it, it takes an extreme amount of skill speed and reflexes to do. He did it to JMM a master boxer and who's better than anyone Crawford has beat does he sound or look like a bum to you?:deal:

You never addressed my point about better usable speed in the ring. I don't care about combo punching it's overrated being able to land single accurate shots that your opponent can't see or can't defend is much more useful and demoralizing, it wins fights. You only land in combination usually on over-matched opponents or guys there to be hit. How many times did PBF get hit with 3, 4 and 5 shot combos in his career. Do you really think Crawford would land those on PBF? That type of stuff is irrelevant and reminds me of the Pac fans who kept talking about how much faster Pac was than PBF and how he could throw combos faster, alot of good that did. LOL! Give me a guy who can catch a guy with a accurate fast single shot over a fast combo puncher any day of the week.

Lastly you keep going on about who did PBF show these elite speed and skills against, then who in the hell did Crawford show them against? Khan? Postol? Gamboa? These dues wouldn't even rank as a top 10 win on PBF's resume. If Crawford goes out there and dominates a guy like Spence then we can revisit this until then it's a ridiculous comparison and PBF is the big favorite as the poll suggests.

Crawford is with Arum so you're probably right but If Crawford left Arum like Cotto did then the fight would be made.

Landing single potshots has more to do with a fighters ability to not telegraph theur shots and disguise they are about to throw, their timing, their jusge of distance, openings their opponent gives them, aggressiveness, balance, and understanding of your opponents tendencies than it does speed, thats why combination punching is the more accurate indicator.

He did do it to JMM, who looked slower and more sluggish at any point in his career. Part of that is down to FMJ. The rest was down to being dragged up to a career high weight he had never been acclimated to and Mayweather giving the agreed upon weight the middle finger. Thing is, he probably wouldnt have needed to do that, he was already longer and faster than Marquez and they are both strongest counterpunching off the back foot. Marquez would have needed to leave his comfort zone in the first place and go after Floyd. As great as Floyd was, there are too many asterisks like that in too many fights for his resume to be considered great. One thing he undoubtedly proved throughout his career was that he never faced any elite opponent on anything close to a level playing field, he only fought anyone when he had the deck stacked totally in his favor. Which brings me to my next point: that fact is proof this is all a moot point as FMJ never would have gone anywhere near a prime Crawford. Fight never would have happened.

Look, maybe im wrong and everyone else is right, but I know boxing and if this ever came to fruition id realistically give Mayweather a 1% chance of beating Crawford.

You mean the same JMM who KTFO Pac at that same weight 3 years later?

How did he fight with the deck stacked when he fought the majority of his career and the majority of his prime with Top Rank and Arum? Who told him who to fight all the way to 147. When he left Arum and got the Oscar fight he fought Oscar on his terms at a weight he really has never looked great at. After that he became the A-side and PPV king so he started to dictate terms. Canelo fought PBF on his terms became a big draw and then after that never got dictated to again that's the way it works.

The only guy who he had problems getting in the ring was Pac and that's because Pac declined testing and Arum and GBP didn't like to do business back then. When Cotto was with Arum the fight with PBF didn't get made when he left the first fight he had was with PBF. He would have fought Crawford had he not been with Arum that is just nonsense.

Pac was faster than floyd. That’s why Pac hurt floyd twice and floyd had to run all night and hug. He didn’t neutralise Pac with his own speed, he did it by running and keeping his distance using his size advantage, and when Pac eliminated that size advantage by closing in, he illegally bent below the waist then forced a clinch which is also illegal.

You’re dreaming man. Be honest with yourself.

I know Floyd ducked him like he ducked all the tough challenges. You can defend him all you want with this Freddy Roach nonsense. Manny would have fought him. Floyd didn't want it, and knew what to do to back him off. Manny has the greater career. He will be remembered more fondly than Floyd.

Pac was slower than pbf of both hand and foot. Pbf clearly had the faster reflexes he moved much faster you clearly didn't see the same fight that the majority of people saw. Pac was a step slower and pbf didnt even have to get out of first gear because it was so easy to neutralize pacs offense. His command of controlling range and dictating distance and timed counters was too much for pac. He held pac to a career low output and connect % ffs that right there tells you everything you need to know. It was one of pbfs easiest fights in years. Easy work.

Except he didnt because pac didn't want to drug test. He pulled out of talks because if it and fought clottey. Those are facts that cant be refuted. He ducked pbf. You dont deal in reality or facts just your irrational hate filled opinions. Log off

Log off? I know what I saw. Floyd called the shots. When he saw Manny at a basketball game he said give me your number. The fight was made. Easily. Why? You can say anything you want and believe anything you want, but this guy handpicked guys at the right time.

I am talking about back in 2009 when they fight was first being negotiated. Pac didn't want to test and pulled out of talks to fight Clottey. After that the fight was not easy to make because of bad blood on both sides and promoters not wanting to work with one another and rival networks. The easiest time to make the fight was back in 2009 because they both fought for HBO and they both agreed to a 50/50 split.
