Lennox Lewis He(Joshua) doesn't want those guys. He's happy being protected in England

Same here he's one of my favourite boxers ever but he's become a company shill since working for PBC. It's pretty clear it's Wilder who is ducking.

 

Whenever Lewis talks about the sport he is so wrong. Every prediction he makes, every pick he makes, every piece of analysis is just complete garbage.

 

Agreed, I don't pay attention to anything he says because he chats so much ****... I might class him as the best heavyweight ever, but his predictions and opinions suck.

Joshua however is great at predictions, really knows his stuff.

 

Lennox is obviously pissed off that he has been usurped as the UKs all time #1 Heavyweight by AJ who has demoted him to #2.

He cannot handle the simple fact that Joshua is far more popular than he ever was... and I am saying this as a fan of Lennox the Boxer.

Jealousy is a nasty trait Lennox.

I disagree with Lennox, but I like that he's sticking to his guns and genuinely believes what he's saying, despite it being very unpopular with British fans. Joshua can beat Wilder and Fury and most people will still argue Lewis has a better legacy so I don't think it's jealousy.

Just like all of us, he just doesn't care for anything besides Joshua Vs Wilder

Not really. It is an opinion that I believe. For certain, AJ is far more popular than Lewis ever was as Lewis mainly fought away from the UK once he gained a World Belt whilst AJ has garnered his support with, to date, home bouts.

If you check my bio, Lennox is listed amongst my favourite boxers. Both have held multiple World Titles and have successfully defended them. What puts AJ marginally ahead - and this my opinion which I believe I am allowed to have - is the fact that after 7 successful World Title fights plus selling out massive Arenas and then Stadiums, AJ trumps Lennox on the above as he is unbeaten (to date) and sells more tickets generating more interest.

As for a World Title fight in their primes, I would genuinely call it 50/50. Both are big, both can bang.

As an aside, I remember being in a club in Preston (Legends) when Lennox beat Bruno and an old mate and I were the only Lennox supporters there. We made an hasty retreat at the end as the atmosphere turned ugly...
