Does it make sense for Ortiz to duck AJ?

Honestly don't care about Ortiz , he refused twice one was 6 mill the next 7 mill , on top of that he would have to pass VADA as MSG fights require VADA tested boxers . Ortiz simply priced himself out you snooze you lose , Ruiz and Hunter stepped up . Ortiz straight up avoiding AJ and Whyte ran away from his WBA mandatory which is why he was bumped off , honestly Ortiz is second only to Miller for being a complete clown this year . Ortiz's fight against Hammer was a mess . Someone off Ortiz's skill and reputation should of KO'd Hammer but he could not rock Hammer . The myth is gone .

 

Ortiz and his fans are dumb... so it is expected that he would do dumb things, and his fans would also say dumb things.

Lucky for Ortiz I believe he is getting a straight shot at Wilder with no eliminator needed.

 

Haymon could have a stipulations in Ortiz contract.

his entire team seems clueless except his manager J.Jimmenez who doesn't seem honest and never got good vibes from him at all.

Ortiz trainer Concedo seems oblivious to everything ranging from Ortiz being Joshuas mando situation last year to filling out simple paper work that got Ortiz nearly suspended by PEDS .

these guys are idiots and J.Jimenez communications seems to be with Haymon not his own guys that he keeps in the dark to sway away from Joshua ? Lol

Why? Ortiz is a fight for Wilder to keep him relevant , Ortiz isn't smart guy and if he gets the Wilder fight will be scratching his head about the 8 million he could have got , or his blood pressure sky rocketing if Breazeale knocks out Wilder .

 

Possible reasons.

1 - PED's - He was probably mid cycle.

2 - Haymon vetoing any deal ensuring Wilder's next opponent is available so they have a decent opponent when Wilder ducks Joshua again which Finkel has confirmed by saying they won't fight Joshua until at least 2020.

3 - Ortiz doesn't want it. He was never the top super heavy in Cuba as an amateur always 2nd or 3rd string for the most part, he wasted most of his prime fighting nobodies and not stepping up, first time he did he was done for doping vs Kayode, he refused to fight Ustinov twice in a final eliminator which would of made him mandatory, he again refused his mandatory to fight AJ and sought a fight with the easier Wilder. I just don't think he has the self belief in himself, hence why he feels the need to cheat and use PED's.

 

No it doesn't. That's what makes it suspicious.

 

Only legit reason I see for Ortiz to turn down the AJ is because it's on such short notice..

Ortiz is old news . He had chances to face Whyte and he priced himself out of those too . I get it , Ortiz's career has been frustrating and annoying . He never seized the day . Whyte V Rivas is a far better fight honestly and I think Ortiz would struggle against Kingpin Johnson right now . Ortiz done nothing since Wilder . His Hammer fight confirmed my suspicions about him . Honestly the way things are going Ortiz isn't even top 10 anymore for me . Going over to PBC has ruined him .

 

I'll be shocked if that happens, notice how he worded it. Whyte has to confirm he'll accept the ruling of a vote, if he says yes, they vote no he isn't mandatory and then he's basically screwed but he's agreed to it and so legally has no recourse other than to accept it.

In reality he should say he will wait for the outcome of the vote and then if it's favourable say if he will agree to it's ruling, by committing himself before the outcome he's setting himself up to be side lined again and Kownacki to get the next mandatory shot, I mean how messed up would that be, Whyte beats Helenius doesn't become mandatory, Kownacki beats Helenius and becomes mandatory.

Nobody in the WBC top 10 deserves a shot more than Whyte but WBC for months now have been stringing him along.

 

They all refuse to take AJ fight cause theres not enough time to flush PEDs out of the system.
