Who has the tougher opponent and tougher night out of Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte? Obviously Rivas is more of the unknown commodity out of the two going into the fight against Whyte, but from knowledge of his amateur background and his win over Jennings who has only been bested by Ortiz and Klitschko aside from Rivas, us hardcore fans know the talent and threat he possesses. Andy Ruiz Jr is the more known fighter, especially with his competitive title challenge against Parker, in which he lost a close MD in towards the back end of 2016.

But who do you guys believe to be the tougher opponent respectively for Joshua and Whyte and who will encounter the most problems?

Neither is championship quality. But, Rivas is slow as molasses, so, I think Ruiz is the (slightly) more difficult opponent.

But, neither should end up being much of a problem at all.

Whyte has the tougher assignment, but Ruiz is the better fighter.

Ruiz is most likely the better of the two. That being said Rivas has good power and Whyte is hittable, so I think that is the more likely upset and tougher fight.

Quality question . Gotta bear in mind that AJ is looking to make a statement to the US with his debut at MSG and I think 1st June we are gonna see one of the most devastating HW's in history . I think AJ would KO anyone on the 1st June no matter who is put in front of him . The tactical situation is now AJ and Hearn going on the offensive and really gonna start making a wave this year . Honestly looking at the likes of Johnson and Molina , I can't see Ruiz really pulling out some sidewinder fight . I hope Ruiz does well and makes it hard but AJ will blitz anyone 1st June and I think a lot of people are gonna start naming AJ the man after his debut in the US .

Whyte V Rivas I just got a feeling that this is gonna be the fight of the year , it has all the makings and questions with little evidence of a boring fight . Rivas will be looking to make an impact and Whyte will be using this as a fight to prove his domination as THE top contender . Both these fights and the fighters Ruiz , Joshua , Whyte and Rivas will be common names in the HW's after this , and probably make many people top 10's .

Honestly in terms of opponents Ruiz got it the hardest , AJ is gonna be a force of nature for that fight . Rivas Whyte are gonna give each other problems and bring out the best of each other honestly .

If they put a Big Mac meal behind AJ, Ruiz will walk right through him! Seriously Ruiz is way better. Dillian is really on a roll too.

I think they are a similar level to be honest, neither are serious threats to the top heavies, wouldn't have either in the top 10.

Rivas is clearly slower, but he carries his power later into the fight, both are plodders with minimal head movement and both a similar size.

If I had to favour anyone I'd say Ruiz Jr.

Can you explain why Whyte is hittable? Or do you expect a fighter not to get hit at all?

Whyte has good defence, good timing on slips and cover ups.

Please back up your statement based on his recent performances.

Both are poor Heavyweight impersonators........in the old days bums like that would be exhibition cannon fodder to show case fighters like Liston/Foreman/Tyson how many fighters they can KO in ONE night and yes, the aforementioned fighters would knock their azz silly in back to back fight on the same night, that how bad those club fighters are.

Whyte is only slightly better, in essence a glorified punch bag.........if you are going life and death with feather fisted clubfighter Chisora anybody with a brain knows the gig is up in regards to talent and ability.

You need a time machine and a chill pill old man. You are disrespecting hard workers and calling them bums.

He does get hit quite a lot. Joshua was teeing off on him at will in the early rounds, Chisora too had no trouble finding his chin, against opponents that go right at him he doesn't seem to be able to get out of the way or slip their attacks.

He's improved to some degree from the Joshua fight and the Chisora fight, that's pretty obvious. He's more measured, controls distance far better as we saw in the Chisora rematch, but I'd say he's still pretty hittable.

Whether Rivas can get to him consistently is debatable, Rivas is pretty basic, I'm sure he'll hit Whyte with some decent shots but not sure if he can put the kind of pressure on needed to stop Whyte and if he tries he might just walk into a counter left and be put to sleep. Walking right at Whyte isn't smart, he's far craftier than given credit for.

How is saying they are not top 10 calling them bums? That's an exaggeration on your part.

I just don't rate them that highly and see flaws in their make up as fighters. Maybe I'm wrong but until I see something else from them I'll stick with my assessment of them.

Of course everyone gets hit at some point during a fight. And I'm certainly not saying that Whyte is not a hell of a fighter (easily a top five heavyweight and would give anyone in the division a run). That being said he was clearly hurt by Parker and Chisora (two better fighters than Rivas). Rivas is heavy handed and his punches will mean more when they land than Ruiz, thus making him the tougher test. I expect Whyte to win the fight though.
