Richard Commey is in a great position to make some good money. Loma wants to fight him next, so does Teo Fimo. Loma wont get a shot at the Wbc belt so they have to go after Commey hard. For once the b side controls what goes on. Loma is a great fighter but doesnt have huge options like fighting Mikey,Tank or Luke.
Commey is definitely in position to fight either. I think that the pathway being drawn up is for Commey to fight Fimo to build Fimo's resume and Lomachenko to fight Luke which would then place them in position to set up a PPV. Personally, I'd love to see Commey's name on Loma's resume, alongside Luke and Fimo. None of which I give much chance to beat Loma at this stage.
I thought he was a little unlucky against RE also. I haven't seen the Shafikov fight myself but one thing that's not in his favour is that Adelaide Byrd was the judge who scored it for him.
