It wouldn't shock me in the least, he barely beat De Carolis.

We knew Akkawy was a heavy underdog. Ryder was $ 1.10. Just over patriotic . We haven't
had much to cheer about in boxing lately.

Jeff Horn, TJ Doheny and the Moloney brothers are still in the mix and are all solid top guys don't fret too much.

Will make him some money if he can get Zabdiel in the ring later in the year.

Put on a couple of league players on the bill and the pub will be packed with blokes who think Gallen would give the heavyweight champ a run for his money..whats his name again Lenny Lewis? Me mates cousins dealer's neighbour fought him once in the amateurs.

I think it is pretty typical of Aussie boxing. This fight will appeal to the bogans. How old is Zab now 42?
I assume the fight would be at 154. Judah’s best days were at 140 and he has been well past his best for over a decade. Tszyu Jnr is just following the pattern of all the Aussie big name conmen.

Next favourite Rocky Jerkic he got speed an style can win a world title , he'll be back in da ring this year some time been told . As for Tim Tszyu I think da same will happen to him as Akkawy .

    * Daniel Lewis is now the hottest commodity in Aust boxing. His contract with Top Rank is a 3 fight agreement . He 's really a nice young man Arum said. '' And everyone is raving about his talent. You cannot believe the buzz this kid has created just from sparring. He handles himself like a more exp fighter and we're looking forward to see what he can do . He looks very promising. " Lewis first fight as Top Rank boxer is on 28 June in San Diego.
    * Demsey Mckean opponent Curtis Harper is the HW who made global headlines when he walked out of the ring just before the opening bell with Olympian Efe Ajagba of Nigerian last Aug over protest of his low purse $ 6000 US. Harper has given local promoters assurances he will not do the same in Aust.
    * Aust MW Champ Tej Singh returns on Jun 29. No word yet if it will be Title fight.
    * Fox Boxing schedule. * Subject to change.
Hurd vs Williams 154 lbs 10 am to 1.30 pm AEST Fox 503 Sun May 12.
WBSS Semi's from Glasgow 4.am to 8 am Sun May 19
Josh Taylor vs Baranchyk 140 lbs
    Inoue vs Rodriguez 118 lbs.
Then same day Wilder vs Breazeale 10 am to 2.30 pm.

Chairman Bob is right. The hype for Daniel Lewis is off the chart.

I've just moved him into my top 10 Australian fighters P4P in place of Bilal Akkawy.

Replacing one Western Sydney boy with another.
