    There’s no evidence for either increasing strength, and increasing strength is not what EPO is for. You don’t have to agree or disagree, the physiology and the science is there.

    Man. Round 7. Mostly defense by Canelo but I can't give Jacobs the round. He didn't land anything and Canelo did land some. Especially that big body shot.

    Álvarez is whirring his arms into Jacobs' body, nothing really getting through cleanly. Jacobs manages to escape the ropes and pushes forward behind the southpaw jab. Álvarez throwing lots of right hands at the midsection but Jacobs is leaning and torquing himself around so that Álvarez doesn't hit anything legal, just the area over his kidneys. Huge body combo from Jacobs while pushing Álvarez into the ropes. Álvarez is catching right jabs on the high guard, quieted down offensively as Jacobs takes charge from the lefty stance. Nice left uppercut on the stomach by Jacobs while moving to his left. Jacobs now orthodox, pumping the left jab in the final half-minute. Álvarez dashes in and whips a left hook into the jabbing arm to knock it aside.
