Alvarez landed more punches than Golovkin in 3 rounds in the 2 fight, and there were 2 rounds where they landed the same (1 in 2017 and 1 in 2018)

This is really fascinating! Do you think...I mean....I am not sure how to ask this....do you think GGG got robbed in these fights? I have not heard this supposition before and may need to investigate if so.

Canelo Landed a higher power-punch connect in 16 of those 24 rounds and a higher connect percentage overall.

So this basically comes down to whether you prefer nickels or dimes.

No **** he landed more punches, he threw mostly jabs, what an idiotic thread.

Jesus Christ, you people can't be that stupid, I think you guys are just trolling.

Golovkin would knock out every man in Philadelphia with his eyes closed.

learn the rules. power punch means everything except a jab. a power punch in terms of scoring doesn`t mean necessarily a hard significant punch. even when a fighter would stroke a temple it would be scored a a power punch. please don`t confuse people with nonsense, when you don`t have knowledge about the sport you are talking about.

you can only score on 3 critera: solid landed jabs, activity and visible landed power punches.
3 good punches on highlighting youtube clips in slo motion are not a scoring criteria.

Golovkin has knocked people down with his jab before. It's not some pitty pat shot. On the other hand most of Canelo's "power punches" were to the body, and they had demonstrably no effect. I'll take a punch to the face over a punch to the body in terms of scoring if pressed on the matter.

    Golovkin got robbed.

Give it a rest, GGG could arguably had won the first one, I had it a draw however but you can’t tell me Canelo didn’t walk him down and do the more effective work in the 2nd. If you wanna say it’s one a piece fair enough but don’t act like he won both comfortably.

You don't know what your talking about. Compu box has nothing to do with the rules of boxing.

The main vectors of scoring fights is very clear
    -Effective aggression
    -Ring generalship
    -Defense
    -Clean and effective punching

Some rounds in which Golovkin outlanded Canelo in total punches was determined by just one punch.

For example round 6 of fight #1 - GGG landed 16 to Canelo's 15. But GG threw 20 more punches just to land that one. So that one extra punch was evened out by Canelo making him miss 20 extra punches.

Who won the round? Im sure you'd argue Golovkin won that round because he outlanded Canelo in power punches.

But thats where the argument will become unstuck since Canelo outlanded Golovkin on power punches in 15 out of 24 rounds.

Hit and not get hit is the name of the game.

Canelo made GGG miss a ridiculous 500 punches in fight #1 and 400 punches in #2 , while he himself was the more clean , effective and accurate puncher.

This is why the first fight was close and why he won the second fair and square.

i don`t agree with your whole statement. especially with that sentence i quoted. hit and not get hit is a dumb creation of ugly fighting people to defend their anti-boxing style, like lara or mayweather

you are a hypocrite like all of fantasy-storyteller in point of the GGG-Canelo II. canelo lost the first fight wide and there is nore debate about it. the second fight was closer, i agree about that, but he didn`t won the fight. for that canelo should have done A LOT more. golden boy promotions put the sails that canelo received everything in his favour and advantage. thats why, we saw 2 fights. with clean scoring we wouldn`t have seen a second fight because there was no reason to fight twice. even PED`s couldn`t put canelo in the situation to go home with a honorably victory about a grandpa ggg.

at the end of the day, you can tell what you want. you guys spinning your arguments every 5 minutes different, depends on who and how your favorite fighters won.
