Canelo and GGG are #1. I might give it to Canelo, I have to think about it.

I thought GGG won the first fight and Canelo the second one.

Canelo is coming off 2 loses to GGG and just fought a #3 guy at middleweight.
That does not propel you to P4P #1.

P4p will always be up for debate until there’s an accepted formula for working it out, actually is there a formula for it?
What is the closest thing we have to it?

How did Canelo beat him in better fashion? He won by a round on two judges scorecards...

All Canelo did was win a fight and it was a close fight at that. So did Loma and Crawford and in better fashion so how does that move him past those gents. He is in the same ball park but not a clear favorite for pfp number one. He has improved his game a great deal. He is better than when he fought GGG. Personally for me, if I had a choice of skillset to take with me in any weight class, it would be Crawford's.

Ya, sure. I dont have a problem with that. I suppose it comes down to how you scores Canelo fights.

Personally Ive only had him losing to Mayweather and the first Golovkin fight.

So for me... I dont take much issue with him being p4p number one.

I see people scoffing at Canelo being there while ranking Crawford.

The idea that Crawford could be #1 but having Canelo there is unthinkable.... when not only does Canelos resume crap all over Crawfords but Canelo probably has a better resume right now than Crawford will garner in the rest of his career.

Canelo is usually fun to watch (not against Jacobs) and fights anyone. He clearly isn’t elite in the way that Lomachenko or Crawford are. He could have half a dozen losses on his record now if he wasn’t fortunate with the judges. He reminds me of DLH when he was fighting, very good, fights anyone, but not quite at the elite level. Pound for pound hell no, his ceiling is around number five.

Why would how you score a fight change anything? The fight was still what it was. That would be completely illogical to do.

Agree but would not argue with anyone who scrambles those 3 around.
