Canelo will kiss the canvas for the first time in his life.

Kovalev has a lot of weaknesses and yes Canelo can beat him and stop him late.

Kov is a far more skillful fighter than Jacobs, just moving around the ring a lot doesn`t mean you`re a clever fighter, Jacobs is completely predictable, Kov would do far better than Jacobs did and his long jab would be too much for the short armed Canelo, Kov would be far too strong, Canelo`s punches couldn`t keep Jacobs off him at times, Kov would just walk through Canelo, Ward looked stronger than Canelo when he fought Kov compare to how Canelo looked against Jacobs, the weight and size was an issue and Kov is a really strong light heavy.

Canelo showed weaknesses v Jacobs, he flagged towards the end and couldn`t keep Jacobs off, his work rate was very poor also.

That is not exactly Kovalev's strong points either. He gets tired and Canelo will work the body.

Canelo`s workrate won`t be enough to expose Kov`s stamina because he will be tired by then also, Canelo didn`t land enough body punches to drain Jacobs because of his movement he would have to throw a lot more body shots to drain Kov and that will leave him open to counters, if Jacobs can catch Canelo with counters due to his reach then a superior offensive fighter like Kov would land even more counters, I feel Jacobs reach bothered Canelo and the same thing would happen with Kov, Kov may have outboxed Ward in their 1st clash and Ward P4P was a far better fighter than Jacobs is.

Don't think he'd get near enough,Kovalev has a great jab and would keep him at range.I keep picking Canelo by knockout or stoppage but at what point do you have to accept that this much vaunted power isn't there, has never been there and is ever gonna be there.
He may be heavy enough to fight at light heavyweight but he's giving up height, reach and power albeit he can take power imo he doesn't have enough power to worry anyone.

Lol you must have Canelo bad,he takes a shot well but he couldn't trouble Beterbiev imo.
Not fair to expect it of him imo but it does at least put to rest talk about his size, him fighting at super middleweight or even light heavyweight does not surprise me,how he ever made 154 is the crazy thing.

Not a prayer. Kovlev pounds him without mercy. Oscar leaps in the ring throws in the towel to save the sacred cow.

After the shyness shown to Jacobs to even consider he has a chance is foolish. Kov won' be playing the rehydration BS game.

At any sensible weight for Kov it's an utter annihilation. Canelo wouldn't see past the 2nd round.

Oscar don't allow that unless it is at 165.

Kovalev KO. Canelo by his body proportions(height, reach, biacromial) is a small middleweight. At 175 he gets crushed. Even in 168, I don't see him surviving Callum Smith and other 185+ guys.
