Not sure about "leaning to the right" here is a comparison of the old school stance to modern fighters and a near breakdown on why the old timers had it right.

While your lean is to the right, it's all based on your feet and balance and potential to react to a left hook or over the top right. Watch the footwork of those mentioned above and where their hips set in relation to their feet. Honestly, it only something a really good trainer and a lot of experience will teach you.

The fighter that was trying to hit Burley didn't look like a chump at all. He looks like a pretty good fighter though he did get frustrated after a while and started loading up bombs because you couldn't lay a glove on him.

its not really a Lean though, its more of a twist the upper body to the right to hide the centerline. Also unless you do everything properly that goes with that stance I would not try to box that way .(including using your hands to threathen the guy and not glue to your head, learning to feint/mill to help you control intiative, ability to hop in and out of range to add to your feints and keep you safe etc. Old school boxers are the sum of parts and not just the stance.

One thing I’ve learned is trainers don’t like teaching it. Because it’s illegal in amateur boxing matches (or so I’m told). That’s why you don’t see many Qawi or Marciano imitators as much as you should. If someone more knowledgeable would like to correct the legal aspect on amateur bouts have at it I’m not 100 percent on it just going by what a coach recently told me

it isn't leaning to your right at all. If your hips and shoulders are square to your opponent and you lean to your right, all you are is crooked. You want your left hip and shoulder forward. To do that you have to rotate at the hip, not just turn your foot.
And you should pay attention to where your lead foot is in relation to the lead foot of your opponent.

Nah cuz legit crouch down to waist level go high guard mode and turtle clinch the whole fight until they take it out on the back of your head from sheer frustration. Take a knee and scream in agony while the ref rules it a DQ in your favour and retire 0-49-0 like me.
