I know that prime Hagler would make great fights with GGG and Canelo

Strong argument for no.1 middleweight of all time, deffo top 3 for me and some of his wins rank right up there. The 3 rnd. war with Hearns and the titanic battle with Mugabi who at the time was undefeated with all wins by KO, the way he manhandled highly ranked opponents like Minter and Sibson. One of my all time fave fighters and I think H2H today, he would have no equal.

One of the best jabs I've ever seen and his chin holds ATG status. Top 20-30 of all fighters who ever strung up gloves.

He certainly fought better opponents than GGG and imo also better opponents than monzon. It's not GGG fault that top class opponents like Canelo and Jacobs only came along when he was in his mid to late 30s though.....and he did still beat them even then. GGG would be a very tough test for hagler and monzon. A very tough test.

Do you always have to say some negative sh@t? Your life must really suck because only miserable people say the nonsense you do.

No, he would not beat them for sure,

I would favour him to beat both of them, but I wouldn't use the word 'sure.'

Hagler's fighting weight was around 10 lbs lighter than GGG and around 15 lbs below Canelo.

Both have very durable chins. In fact, I would rate GGG's as being on a par with Marvin's.

Like I said, I'd put my money on Hagler over both men. But it wouldn't be a sure thing.

Negative or not, I didn’t create the topic. I call it as I see it. If hagler didn’t sell out and fought rather then putting on a show with Leonard he’d be more widely respected amongst people who know what they are looking at.
Guy left the country for 30 years he so ashamed.

He wasnt called marvellous for nothing. My early teenage years were spent watching some Hagler fights. He had a chin of granite and a killer instinct. At his peak I would take him to wipe the floor with any of today's middleweights

Oh no doubt he makes the top ten easy! Tough tough fighter, who in my view would mop the floor with GGG or Canelo,,
