Spinx's boxing ability, or lack thereof, is highlighted in his failing to win convincing decisions over cobb and ledoux while also getting brutally stopped by coatzee, Holmes, ribalta, and Qawi. I rate patterson's punching power at least on par with 2-3 of those names and certainly his ring iq is up there with all 4 of them. Floyd clowns him, drops him once in the 5th and twice in the 9th for a convincing stoppage win. The last few rounds would make Mikey vs Spence look competitive. It only lasts this long because Spinx always came forward and would smother some of Patterson's punches. Plus if nothing else, he had heart and stamina and would make Patterson earn it (even if he didnt have the skills to do much else).
Floyd was definitely more talented but Leon when in shape was not an easy out in his very short prime. I would go with Floyd but Leon has his moments in a good action fight.
Spinks rushing in unsettles Floyd for a few round's but at some point Patterson nails him hard with a hook .That would be Floyd's opportunity to drill Spinks . Patterson ko 5 .
