First two were close (people in the comments had them split or 10-10), Garrido clearly took R3 charging in with uppercuts & overhands.
Eighth and final round a brawling mess on the inside.. Comments section on Facebook seems to be in near total agreement on Garrido deserving the nod comfortably. Some calling it tight but nobody outright saying that Slimani earned the decision...
Aw man, they gave it to Hedi Slimani...he looks surprised/relieved, but Garrido is LIVID. Freaking the hell out. I've never seen him take a robbery this badly (and he has been on the wrong side of several), usually he's pretty classy/laid back about it. When they announce the last scorecard and winner he starts hopping up & down in place like Rumpelstiltskin, knees bending outward and feet coming up hip-high and then stomping down again. Slimani tries giving him a hug and Garrido shoves him off and accosts the ring announcer, demanding to see the scorecards.
I thought Girrado got it, but only saw from rnd 4, Hedi needs to learn how to fight of the backfoot and keep it long, was forced to fight Garridos fight
Minor upset in the main event, Kevin Ongenae vs. Kevin Vanderheyden II. "The Professor" Ongenae held undefeated Vanderheyden to a draw 14 months ago but outpointed him in today's rematch for the vacant Belgian middleweight title. Good fight? Anybody watch it? @ChinMusic @Somachenko
