    Williams is playing a little rope-a-dope, allowing Hurd to expend his last vestiges of energy pumping out sloppy but powerful combos. Williams decides a minute is enough for that and starts to clank his elbows into Hurd's midsection, driving him like a sheep-dog into the ropes. Big uppercut by Williams on the inside. Very light paintbrushes on the body from Hurd, a high volume but they're nothing shots, with no leverage or torque. Williams on the other hand is ROCKING the champ! Under a minute left. Williams brute-forces Hurd into the ropes and rides with a few ugly oarsman's punches from Hurd. They both flurry sloppily before the bell, and the best shots landed are Williams' final straight right and one left hook from Hurd.
