J rock is still a force and could potentially win a title belt at 154. Munguia vs Williams would be a fun fight!

Only showed glass in one pro fight, where there was no pre fight P.E.D. testing, and he looked to be outweighed in the ring by 15 pounds. His chin has never ever looked that bad. He got hit solid a few times by that Jamaican guy, who was a puncher last time out, and took it well.

Link it if so. I don't recall that, but may have missed it. I do recall that last guy landing some solid shots and Williams seemed fine.

Half the guys on this forum claim someone is hurt whenever a big shot lands. I watched that fight, and I didn't see Williams hurt. Trout did take Charlo's punches well. Anyone know if there was drug testing for the Charlo vs Trout fight? There wasn't anything but a **** test for Williams vs Charlo. Williams was said to have had trouble rehydrating for the Charlo fight also, he may have had bad nerves or been under the weather. It would explain being seriously hurt by a jab. Or maybe Charlo's wraps were loaded, who knows what the **** happened to his punch resistance that fight. That has never shown itself again. He's taken some big shots too since then. Latimore dropped some bombs on him, and Hurd did land some shots last night. Williams was fine.

It doesn't effect it in the least. There's a reason Charlo moved up to Middleweight within a year, hell he barely made weight against Trout, and looked drained as hell in the weigh in for their match. Like Hurd, Charlo was a big time weight cutter, and Julian mad a huge mistake in his preparations for their fight, he thought that because Trout survived and went the distance without going down, he could too, but the miscalculation he made was that Trout schooled Charlo and survived, by avoiding being hit being a defensive genius on the backfoot, not by waking down a power puncher aggressively, especially one two divisions bigger. The fact that Julian lasted as long as he did with that strategy proves what a good chin he actually has. If they meet again one day at MW, I doubt Julian will implement the same strategy.
