Lennox Lewis said that ****. He is absolutely atrocious as a commentator, always has been.
Hurd had already been clearly hurt before the KD and Williams was on his way to a 10-8 regardless(or close to it).
Fortunately they did end up giving Williams his due in the later rounds when they realized it was a schooling(but they had it close).

Man, Hurd is awful! Truly dire... Flat footed, cant fight on the inside, long winging shots with no snap on them.. It was like watching a zombie! He got schooled there..

I respect all fighter's but comparatively speaking from what I can see he doesn't stack up to the top fighters in the world..

Hurd mightn't be the most skilled boxer out there , but he was a unified champ who is big sturdy and not easy to beat. It was an excellent win for Williams.

Hurd vs Charlo would still be a good fight to make even if he loses again to Harrison

 

That's the worst commentating crew of recent memory. Joe Gossen knows boxing, but he clearly tows a party line at times. Lewis is god awful.

 

It was an especially excellent win, considering how wide he really beat him. Hurd beat Lara, Harrison, and Trout. Williams puts on a clinic, and he didn't even bring his track shoes like Lara. He outpunched, outworked, and outmuscled the bigger man on the inside.
