From what I saw of Berchelt last night. He will be a more rugged fight than guys like Pedraza or Crolla, but I don't see how Loma won't box his face off.
I'm not a fan of Berchelt, and I've never claimed to be either... I just know hed give your God lomachenko MAJOR ISSUES!!! ******
Shutup u womble.. You made this thread to appease your Loma butthurt & threw Davis in to make it seem like u were being objective doe
I don't see Loma dropping down to 130, so let's get Tank vs Berchelt next. I got Tank winning by a highlight reel KO. Berchelt is clearly better than Machado, Cancio, Ito, and Farmer, but Tank is clearly better than all 4 of those guys in my eyes. Only fight I wouldn't want for Tank atm is Loma, I want that fight to marinate, and for Tank to get a little more experience, Berchelt would be a great fight for him.
In my opinion, Berchelt's real strength is his power and durability. He is a strong man and has good movement which is the reason why he excels in close fight. But on technical side, he is not really high level. True that his combination and body punches are vicious, but most of the times, at least in recent years, he only fought boxers who are coming right to him. Miura, Awuku, Vargas, Roman, you name it. And yet many of them had successfully landed shots against him (e.g Miura, Roman lol). His jabs is not really that good either, Pedraza jabs much better than him. Against Loma, he'll face a guy of same size with a totally different level of technique, speed and tactics. A man who so far has overcome bigger opponents than him (and knocked some of them out).
Berchelt is slow. Its one thing hitting a punching bag like Vargas, who is slower than Berchelt. His defense does not seem overly good either. I think both Davis and Loma beat him.
Both Loma and Davis is a problem for Berchelt. Speed, reflexes, foot work and power gives him a tough fight.
