Marlon Starling vs Pipino Cuevas

I would pick Starling to beat Cuevas up then stop him in 10-12.

 

Marlon by UD over 15, but he would have to be at his very best.

 

I dunno about this one. Blocking punches the way Starling did is very dangerous against a guy with the freakish power of Cuevas.

I suspect that Cuevas might have blasted Starling out, after getting outboxed for awhile.

 

Cuevas was bottom half top 10.Starling was a slick brother who would give PIPINO a black eye

 

Cuevas was a smarter fighter than Honeyghan though.

 

Cuevas changed his head levels a lot while scouting v fighters, he looked for openings he didn`t just charge in like Honeyghan did, I feel Duran would have beaten Starling in the same way he beat Cuevas, I don`t feel Starling was elite.

 

Cuevas would have landed more punches on Starling than he did on Duran, Starling was easier to hit than Duran and wasn`t as good at countering.

 

What this has to do with my post or the possible outcome of a Starling/Cuevas prime for prime 147 lb fight is anone's guess
