Did anybody watch his rematch against Navarette? I’ve only just caught up with it although I seen the result this morning. The lad has got a serious set of nads on him. He was woefully out of his depth in a physical sense, Navarette looked huge in comparison on the night. He was like a super bantamweight version of Munguia in that he didn’t care about his defence and walked Dogboe down constantly and threw bombs at him. Dogboe should have been pulled out by his corner several rounds earlier instead of being left in the ring to take a beating. He was game and was giving everything he could back but he looks like he should be fighting at 118ib for me. He wasn’t allowed to box, just seemed senseless leaving him in there.

    Incredibly tough,so brave and willing.

But two career shortening defeats in a row now.

Looks like he still only spared his cousin or his aunty again. You can't go into a fight lile that without having tried to replicate that style, he was giving up too much in size and reach so you have to prepare properley.

118? He’s moving to 126! For some more mammoth beatings :(. This size disparity problem vis happening far too often. Hurd Munguia the plank Navarette etc etc. time to tighten up weight restrictions. Past time actually.

Just looked far too small -- really looked the business before these last two fights. Hope he can rebuild but agree he doesnt want to be going further up in weight

Never seen the second fight but after seeing the first fight, I was surprised Dogboe’s team went through with the rematch.

Someone described the first fight perfectly when they said it was the worst piece of matchmaking ever. If you were looking for a type of fighter to beat Dogboe, then you would pick Navarette. The bookmakers got the rematch awfully wrong.

Yep! He’ll be after Warrington next! Imagine how that would go....
But the whole size disparity problem needs to be fixed. Today. Guys like Dogboe are sustaining permanent harm due to this problem. In-ring weight disparity needs to be capped to within a few kilos max. Today.

Im a massive fan of Dogboe and this fight was crazy! My respect shot up for him even more, Dogboe was like a pitbull in that ring, he would just not give up. Even when he was taking clean shots, combinations, he was still throwing them fists back! A true warrior.

Just like you boys I can't belive he is moving UP in weight..don't know wtf they thinking but im excited to see where Dogboe goes from here and can't wait to see him in that ring again.

Can’t see the logic in moving up, which champions are going to be a good match up for him stylistically? Am a fan of his though, rated him before these losses but it’s always going to be tough when giving up the best part of half a foot in height and even more in reach...

I love Dogboe, he's got the balls of a African elephant with the balance of a weatherspoons season ticket holder.

I rate dogboe and I posted before saying how much I rate him. How he'd give Loma a good fight etc but that was before the last two fights. He's stuck in a hole. He should not be moving up a weight class. Hope he proves me wrong but for me that'll mark the end of his career

An idiotic decision by his team, putting him back in there. Career is done now.

good piece in Boxing News this week about weight making and the dangers with day before weigh-ins. Not sure how it should be dealt with but I agree there needs to be more control over on the night weights
