From watching Tundes interviews recently and Yardes interviews, the referencing of Floyd Mayweather is non stop. They are proper Mayweather wannabes. Tunde claims to have studied him thoroughly in every way,

Eubank Jr is another one, he always refers to what Mayweather does and how he lives. It's cringeworthy.

    Tunde
    Yarde
    Eubank Jr
    Anthony Small

There was that kid who Tunde trained as well, who'd never even had an amateur fight, then never even ended up turning pro, I forget his name.

Biggest American Mayweather clone has to be Broner

    Paulie Malignaggi quote
''Adrien is nothing more than a Floyd Mayweather wannabe. He doesn’t just fight like him. He talks like him. He breathes like him. He needs to get his own character. He doesn’t have his own personality ''

Definitely Ohara Davies for me but like most who try to imitate, ended up being more like a Broner when he stepped up a level

Everyone wants to be like Mayweather. I remember selby calling himself the Welsh Mayweather. Broner is obviously the biggest 1. I can't remember anyone really fighting in the Mayweather style from the UK. Mayweather reading of a fight is levels above anyone that have even thought about fighting in his style.

My biggest gripe with the pair of idiots Yarde and Tunde is that they can never give a straight answer to a simple question. Similar to what Mayweather did.

There was no point interviewing Mayweather during his latter years as he had his rehearsed answers ready to go at anytime and Yarde and Tunde look to be doing this now.

Watching their interviews with Tris Dixon on BT Sport, you can see Tris trying ever so hard to get some sense out of the pair of them but failing miserably.

Tris: So Anthony, what are your thoughts about your upcoming fight with Kov?

Yarde: heh heh heh heh heh grin heh heh heh. For me, I don't have any upcoming opponents because to me they're just another obstacle in my way to greatness. I just focus on maself. I don't worry about others.

Tris: Ok..so how do you feel about the step up in level of opposition you are facing now comparing to your previous fights?

Yarde: heh heh heh heh heh grin heh heh heh, listen, my journey is destiny, and if you have confidence and belief that you're great, you will overcome everything. Heh heh heh heh heh grin heh heh heh.

Tris: Ok...so where does your confidence come from Anthony?

Yarde: heh heh heh heh heh grin heh heh heh, its all natural, the thing is right, I don't worry about others, I just focus on what I'm doing. What Anthony Yarde is doing. Heh hehh heh.

Honestly it's so fcking infuriating watching him and Tunde being interviewed. With their nonsense replies and their equally nonsense laugh. The media should boycott the pair of them until they start to give real answers. Not idiotic ones that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Tunde learnt his trade under Roger and Floyd Snr at the Mayweather gym, so it’s hardly surprising.

Mayweather is the g.o.a.t. Hardly surprising people want to be like him and mimic his style.

Dont know why you let it bother you tbh.

    Exactly!

Mayweather is one of the greatest of all time as a boxer.
As a financial fighter, he is solidly the #1 of all time, no one comes close.

Why wouldn't boxers aspire to be like him?

No one has a problem with him copying Mayweather's style but to base your personality around him without having a credible record behind you, is embarassing.

They're talking the talk but not walking the walk and that's what people have a problem with. He's doing exactly what Broner did.
