Foolish as it sounds this could happen.

Froch has a massive ego (the Andre Ward fight still visibly kills him FFS) and Groves could see it as a chance for revenge.

Who would win? You'd have to back Groves really but he looks like he'd have to kill himself to make 175 atm

Froch vs Groves 3 , a definite NO

    Froch comeback YES.

Groves does'nt need this or a comeback against anyone but id happily see Froch get KO'd in front of 80,000 at Wembley

He'd only do it against another returning from retirement fighter in my view. He's too savvy to get in the ring after several years out with someone who is current. He won't want to be smashed to bits.

If he was to do it, Kessler or Ward perhaps? They're the only ones I can think of with the profile and a narrative to build a fight on?

He (Froch) did actually mention in a recent interview him and Kessler had discussed a trilogy fight!! Be happy to see Froch v Groves, Kessler or Ward tbh.

He was coming back, then he had to drop out with a form of Lyme's disease and then subsequently he cancelled the comeback.

To be honest although if they did return I'd watch I don't really want any of these guys back in the ring. They're three of the sports success stories. They retired with great legacies, financially secure and with their faculties intact. They should stay on the other side of the ring and get their boxing fix from work as pundits or trainers if they want that.

    Froch v Groves 3 won't happen.

They are doing a few events later in the year off the back of the Sky Sports reunion the other week, so it will be to build that.

Even IF I'm wrong and Froch does come back, it won't be Groves. His shoulder was ****ed rushing back to the Smith fight given the timings of the tournament and he's been counting down the time on his career since the tragedy with Gutkneckt. You can tell from the interviews he's glad to be set up for life and out of the sport at 30.
