He will definitely trouble Deontay, probably wobble him. Not because Brezeale is good, just because Deontay is horrible at negating his mediocre opponents. But Brezeale won't have enough to finish Wilder so he will get laid out in the 8th/9th. Overall chance to win: 5%.
@GALVATRON Hey dude , Paulie Malignaggi is saying the same as us practically . This content is protected
Well if he chooses not to sit down on his punches then in effect he still ends up being a lighter puncher when facing an actual opponent.
One thing ,Paulie got wrong is Wilder doesn't keep reach with his jab, he probes it as a measuring stick more. One thing I've noticed in Breazeales last fight he was shutting down Negrons lead hand by using his own probe / pushing it back with his left . Wilder this is important bc if Wilder is unable to measure Breazeale first he cannot win unless he lands lead right hands. And that's not what he's good at, he likes to blind the fighter or distract him.to set up the right. Also Wilder didn't finish Fury bc he walked into a right hand and was stunned, this wasn't brought up. This is also important bc Breazeales as dangerous when hurt and won fights and won doing this when guys are coming in on him Mansour/ Izu. It changes the fight. The way Wilder swings should he stung Breazeale is going to be real interesting bc we've seen Wilder hurt in his last fight doing that.
Another thing about this , is I brought up gravity trajection of a punch in here before and with the Fury fight and he also used it ? Basically said what I did , one has to wonder ? lol He explained how punching up loses velocity and momentum going against gravity, when he questioned if Wilders power would be as effective. It actually wasn't bc the two knock downs were Fury lowering himself foolishly at waste level. Of course I must have made it up according to everyone on here as gravity is void in combat and doesn't impact velocity ?
True enough , tho all HW have banging power its part of HW territory . Paulie thinks that Breazeale is actually a good fight and not to be taken lightly . Too many people are dismissing DB which is the sure mark of a fool . Wilder's right is always a danger but the dude has popped his right hand like 3 times or something . So many posters are saying this a done and dust fight already and think that DB is just gonna get blown out of there no problems , which is an utterly stupid statement . Me and you both called this a tough fight from day 1 and we are right , Paulie is saying the same thing that this is a hard fight for both of them and nobody should be dismissing DB in this .
20 to 25%. The opponents Wilder had the toughest times with were Stiverne I, Spilzka, Washington, Ortiz, and Fury. Except Spilka, who was short but shifty and good with movement, the others appeared to give Wilder problems because of either their power, size/dimensions, and or movement. Obviously Big Dom can't move, and he isn't as good as most of those others, but he has great size and good power. Also great heart, when he takes a shot, he will throw one back. Should make for a fun fight while it lasts.
Breazeale is a top puncher and finisher. Those combined automatically put Wilder in danger , each and everytime if they fought. That's not including he's bigger and takes a better punch and is more skilled . Also has a better corner without question. Wilders a loss Waiting to officially happen and you'll still get most that don't get that and talk as if every fights a mismatch of it isn't Ortiz Fury or AJ . Most are the ones saying Wilder s a bum so I don't get where the logic comes from ? I can only recommend they sit down and watch all his title fights in full entirety and see how easy it is, I guess they don't actually watch full fights ? If Breazeale can't win now and with Wilder all over the place chances are he won't ever , now his biggest chance .
Wilder could weigh 198 and Breazeale 240 and the outcome is the same Wilder by TKO or KO under 7 rounds
Klitschko is a perfect example of this. He punched down on small opponents. Which made the power went down thru their spine. Against a taller opponent the head is going to snap back so the power is not absorbed thru the neck and the spine as much. The hitting angle is important for how it effects the punch. A boxer is mostly standing with his chin down which also further giving away the angle to increase the damage absorbed. Klitschko's highlight reel is full of this phenoma.
Brazeale isn’t winning SD against Wilder especially in today’s age of A side favoritism. Jrock was given two 7-5 cards when he clearly dominated Hurd. Brazeale has to stop wilder
I give Brazeale a solid 35 percent chance of winning. I will not be shocked if Brazeale stops wilder. Styles make fights and this is a fight that will give wilder problems. If we see the best Brazeale and a distracted Wilder the upset can happen. The question is how many shots can Brazeale take because he will get hit in this fight
Breazeale is not winning by decision, that's for sure. Wilder were leading on the scorecards vs. Ortiz, after all...
