So can we now say Whyte 100% ducked Ortiz?

If Whyte beats Pulev is AJ’s mandatory. Parker doesn’t even come in the equation.

AJ takes him out in 6 rounds
Usyk plays with him to a points win
Fury plays with him but could get a late stoppage as I see Whyte gassing after 8/9 rounds, punching air all night long
Wilder outpoints him (in USA) to a close win

All the HW's are ducking each other right now or in Ortiz's case he's ducking the VADA testers that's why he turned down a payday he could only have previously dreamed of with AJ.

The Parker fightcame out the blue because they wanted to avoid Pulev. Nobody even thought Parker would be in the frame until it was announced.

Everyone has their own opinions, most peoples opinions on Whyte are wrong however -proven by the failed fight predictions they made prior to all Whyte's wins following his loss to AJ.

Fact is, Whyte is getting another shot at AJ one way or another, he didn't need Pulev to get to AJ.

Whyte took on Parker for PPV money... but it wasn't much was it? One million? Compared to the 5 mill he bagged off Chisora, like a poster already mentioned.... if he fought Pulev posters on here would say he ducked Parker guaranteed.

    Whyte beats Wilder,
Whyte has the best chance out of any heavy of beating AJ
Whyte would struggle against Fury, and this is all because styles make fights.

Whyte's best chance against Fury is to show up as the Body Snatcher at peak level... and chop down Fury's torso...slow him down... the knock him out.

No one has done that to Fury... and Fury can only move his torso so much... his head moves beautifully though.

No I do not believe, at all, that he ducked Ortiz - he has no reason to duck ortiz, and all his actions to date prove he doesn't duck nobody.

I find it insulting, that out of all the active heavyweights today, you call Dillian Whyte a ducker, after everything he has done.

He has no fear of Ortiz whatsoever. He is off to beat Oscar the guy that knocked out Ortiz best win ever (jennings)

What has he done exactly? He has fought Chisora twice after making him wait 2 years for a rematch and even fought on the depth of an American undercard to avoid it.
Fought a shot to **** fat Browne.
Parker was probably a 50/50 but that a guy who's best win was against somebody who Chisora blasted out.

I guess his run of opponents is decent in comaprison to others but you are fallimg for the hype and not looking objectively.

I've definitely been looking at it objectively, and Whyte can only be compared to the rest of his current division.

What hype exactly it it that I am buying in to? He had a few close fights, but the fact of the matter is, he fought tough opposition on their BEST days.

Parker showed up for a dog war, as did Chisora, and they are no mugs. You can laugh at Chisora all you want, but he is a tough days work for any fighter and only been stopped once or twice before Dillian did it, in his 38 fight career who took champions the distance.

Parker has never been dropped in his life, with 15 years boxing experience. Not even down in training or sparring, and Whyte dropped him clean. You can try say it was luck, Parker was concussed all you want... the camera doesn't lie it was a clean as **** shot, and Whyte has dropped plenty with the exact same hook.

Fact is Whyte has improved as an individual fighter moreso than any other heavyweight since stepping on the scene as a pro and he is a favourite to beat anyone on the planet as a heavyweight.

I back him against every fighter bar Fury, and I will happily bet you on that because I've been saying this since day one.... Whyte ain't the best boxer but I trust in his ability to win a fight.

You say he made Chisora wait two years... so what? He didn't owe Chisora a damn thing, or the fans... and that is the attitude of every heavyweight fighter but you want to pick on Whyte... when he gave Chisora the chance and Chisora came in even stronger than he was the first time... and got KTFO.

Whyte didn't need that fight at all, he did a favour for Chisora, and the fans... and it was another hoop he had to jump through to get at AJ.

Nobody will ever knockout Chisora as badly as Whyte did... and Whyte can do it again, and again it wasn'y lucky. He was down on the cards, because he didn't give a damn about winning on points. He went for the KO and he said he would go for KO well before it. That was his gameplan plain and simple.

And he had Chisora hurt from round 1.

So there is no hype, Whyte will **** up anyone in the heavyweight division FACT. He hurt Parker with all his shots, and Parker confessed in post fight interview he was getting hurt badly by all of Whyte's shots.

Whyte hits ****ing hard... and he knows how to deliver a shot better than when he fought Anthony Joshua.

What's your prediction for Oscar Rivas? If I had asked you this 2 years ago you would have said Whyte would get KFTO and I would have said Whyte would have won... becuase I know what Whyte brings to the table.

Whyte will put Oscar in a world of pain, but it will be a good fight.

I agree with mostly what you say as I also think Whyte is better than nearly all the heavyweights out there. He is a big hitter and is not scared to fight anyone even when his mandatory position is on the line.
The only part I wouldn't agree with is not backing him against Fury as I think Whyte beats him. If he went up against Wilder then it would be a 50/50 slugfest (a bit like the Chisora fight) and the only one Whyte would lose to would be AJ.
Whyte needs to get more credit on here as he deserves it.

You make some good points but I just don't rate Whyte as highly as you. He doesn't beat any of the big 3 in the division and he is just amongst the rest.

I just buy into this hype at all. Let's see who is right I guess.

I’ve defended Whyte a few times on here...he is capable of flooring any of ‘the big 3’ with a big hook, but to land it would mean that they would have to open up and have a gun fight with him. Joshua showed against Parker that he’s happy to work behind the jab. When he wobbled Joshua in their first fight it was because Joshua was reckless and opened up to try and knock Whyte out. I think if Joshua kept it at a distance he would gradually break Whyte down and knock him out.

I think Wilder has that height and reach and a very underrated jab. He’s another who will bide his time and wait to land that big shot. We all know Wilder will knock out anyone who tries to open up and that’s exactly what Whyte would try to force should they met.

Fury keeps him at range at the edge of his jab. I think he’d really work Whyte over.

Whyte’s a good fighter though. I like him. He knows his strengths, he’ll do anything to win, he’s getting more patient and is timing and power is a real equaliser. I’d never write him off, but the above paragraphs are where my money would go.

I thought that the Parker fight came out of the blue because Whyte was trying to ''duck Ortiz''?

Pulev, Parker and Ortiz all three good fighters, Whyte can't fight them all in the same night. Whichever one Whyte fights, the other two's names will be used to say that Whyte ducked them. Doomed if you do fight one of them, doomed if you don't.
