    Canelo.

This was Pavlik at his best. And I bet everyone would be banking on his reach and jab. But Canelo has shown the ability to deal with it.

The first round of Pavlik-Taylor II, Taylor utilized a lot of upper body feints and countered well off of that timing. This is Canelo's specialty.

Depends on if the payday is enough to make pavlik cooperate in the ring and how much tainted beef is canelo allowed?

Style wise Canelo could look better than people think here. Pav was a monster prime but even prime I feel this is a hard fight for him, Canelo for all the crap is an elite talent. Pts win for either, I cant pick !

Canelo, pavlik is slow and wide with his punches, it will be a counter fest for Canelo, style make fights and his style is made for Canelo

Canelo is a tighter fighter, I think he makes Pav miss a lot and lands his more

Pavlik would dominate from start to finish. Possibly stop Canelo late.

Just as a reminder, Pavlik is almost 3 inches taller than Daniel Jacobs, and has 2 inches reach on him.

    He would absolutely dwarf Canelo.

I actually think this isnt as close as many seem to think it is. A prime Pavliks length and size would simply be too much here, imo.

Canelos movement and boxing ability would keep him in the fight... and I can see him winning a couple of the early rounds with his skills and freshness, but Kelly would slowly begin to take over and by the time Canelo gasses Kelly will take strong control.

Pavlik doesn't have the punch resistance of GGG. Pavlik would not be able to absorb Canelo's big shots. Canelo would bust Pavlik up to the face. Pavlik would end up with a bloody nose and due to how tall and lanky he is would be brutalized to the body. Canelo would slip the jab, dip down and dig in shots to Pavlik's body. Pavlik could end up like Liam Smith did on the end of one of those body shots. I could see Pavlik needing to take a knee after receiving a body shot by Canelo. We saw what Hopkins was able to do to Pavlik, who is not known as a big puncher. But he landed some big shots on Pavlik and with the way Pavlik reacted to those shots, imagine if Canelo was throwing those kind of shots instead of Hopkins.

Canelo punches harder tha Hopkins, has more elusive upper body movement. Pavlik would look very basic against Canelo. He would spend the whole fight trying to jab Canelo. Canelo would beat Pavlik worse than he beat GGG. It would be a lot like Hopkins Pavlik only Pavlik in much more danger of being stopped.

Are you out of your ****ing mind? Pavlik had great punch resistance, and powers of recovery. If Jacobs could absorb his best shots, Pavlik could with ease. And where's the evidence Canelo punches harder than B-Hop? Do you think Cotto would have seen the final bell against Hopkins?
