Disagree. Their culture makes them quiet and agreeable, talk about honour etc. so they appear that way on the surface. Because they encourage introversion and respect for hierarchies there is a lot of repressed and suppressed rage and malevolence. Try to really get to know a Japanese person. Once they snap they really snap, part of the reason why there is such a high suicide rate, fantasy role play and normalisation of deviances over there. The nastiest and most neurotic person I've ever known was a Japanese man.
