I still can't get over how much Larry dominated that fight. And that was after nearly being knocked out by a monster Mercer left!

No you want to say Wilder managed a draw. Reality is any reasonable fan wont dumb themselves down unless they are fanboying ,they will put a question mark on that fight if they know how to score them . you do know how fights are scored right ?

You probably think Holyfield also drew with Lewis right ? lol

Fury isn't an ATG and never will be so he's irrelevant on the topic but he DOES have two key wins that Wilder never will " ( Himself and Klitschko ) .

Wilder is defending a FIRST title defense as far as most are concerned ,he dropped the last one and still holds the belt ....that's a FIRST defense holding a belt, kind of like an elimination bout really with Breazeale who just might take the GREAT wilders belt off him Saturday ? . lol

    LOL

    Thanks. That was funny.

So, how could it be his first defense if he lost?

    Clown.

Ninth straight WBC defense on Saturday.

And, like you said, the SHEER NUMBER of defenses matter when talking all-time rankings.

Only a clown like you continue to expose yourself on here, you literally just add to your own nonsense.

The only one in HW history really to get away with few title defenses to be a ATG is George Foreman for achieving oldest HW champion and fighting other ATG's along with K.O percentage records.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to claim wilder is a great now, with such a weak resume and gifted wins. GTFO... Paper champion vs Joshuas warm ups on Saturday night, which SHOULD be a great fight for THEM ...NOT Joshua who you seem to be confusing with wilder. lol

I firmly believe Larry Holmes is a top 5 HW ever, H2H or otherwise.

I honestly only knew Joshua was champ. I thought he was undisputed, never heard of the other guy before now.

Embarassed, but that shows how much I care about boxing today outside of Mayweather.

To quote you: "He has too many title defenses not to be included, its the major criteria for considering ATG status and reaching that number automatically puts him in."

NINE successful heavyweight defenses will put Wilder in elite company.

Name all the guys who have more? It's a short list. How many of those guys who are eligible aren't in the Hall of Fame?

Some people can't see the forest for the trees.

HW division is VERY stacked now, you're missing a lot of talent and good fights. Even Wilder contributed with Ortiz( he was saved by the bell, go check out round 7) .

Joshua will make history repeat itself like the M.Tyson era where he made the division look bad, watch .

Outside of Joshua like Saturdays fight you have two guys with 90% and 95 % k.o records Wilder vs Breazeale in what I could see a Foreman vs Lyle like fight minus wilder getting up should he go down .

Wilder is NOT the known HW that Joshua is .only the deluded fan boys of wilder are going to contest that.

Larry Holmes had a great chin, great recovery and always stayed calm and posed.

You fool . Go away you clown, Holmes had nearly 20 title defenses. lol :fusmile

ESPN ranked Wilder as the most famous boxer in the world right now.

Joshua is #3. Must be a lot of deluded Wilder fans around the world. Or this site just has an overabundance of Joshua fanboys.

I'd have Larry Holmes in the top five for a long time.

For a while, I thought Wlad or Vitali might bump him. I don't think they managed to do it, though.
