How long does he have? If he can squeeze in GGG 3 before then, then why not?
Would like to see him fight Saunders, andrade, charlo after that.
Don't feel like he has anything to prove at 168.
None of them are big names and he is clearly small at that weight. Big risk, little reward.

Lol good old IBF and there demands. Do we really think the IBF would strip Canelo? Not a chance.

I can't wait for the Canelistas who imagined GGG ducked Derevyanchenko, to explain how Canelo managing to avoid fighting SD by hook or by crook, is not a duck. Unfortunately SD is a high risk low reward type of opponent and I can't imagine Canelo will be happy to fight him when there are softer touches for more money around. Will be fun to see this play out. And - don't get me wrong - I would like to see SD vs Canelo, I think it will be a great little scrap, though not as good as Golovkin.

You sure about that? Got a source?
A source here claims Golovkin got that amount for the Vanes fight.

    https://www.boxingnews24.com/2018/05/purses-golovkin-martirosyan-ggg-1-million-vanes-225000/

The Dervy fight would have been obviously worth more , so you're saying he opted to give up the belt for a fight that was worth less money?

Lets see because DAZN has 365 million dollar investment in Canelo,, They will not allow him to lose at this point,, You know just common sense!

The combined purse for 3G and Vanes was all that was allowed for a fight on that date. As Reg said, SD and his team knew they could make more anyway on another date. Try to keep up...
