All people have to do is go back to the previous page to see that you BOTH pretended they didn't fight heavyweights and you BOTH started the name-calling and cursing and insulting of me.

And I'm not derailing the thread. The first post in this thread asked how good is Briedis and is he underrated.

And all I've said was he's not underrated because he's talented enough to win a heavyweight title but apparently is afraid to do so, because he only fights for cruiserweight belts.

And if you ban me because I simply responded to your vulgar personal insults, you should be removed from your position.

I haven't said anything in this thread that wasn't true, unlike you and your buddy, BCS8.

Or is there a rule that mods are able to curse posters out but we aren't allowed to say got to hell after we've been insulted?

Don't bother arguing or debating with this stubborn buffoon. He'll just ignore any valid points you make and repeat his warped boxrec knowledge and biased fanboy drivel. Complete waste of time.

No I'm banning you because you're trolling and derailing a thread. This is actually a long time coming and well deserved.

That's like saying Loma should fight Canelo because the guys he fights are smaller. Stupid argument.

If the guy makes CW and wants to achieve something there, let him do it. I don't believe it's because they are scared - calling boxers cowards means you haven't boxed.

Strong CW division reinforces what Usyk achieved by unifying all belts.

If his chin holds up he can win the HW titles.

That uppercut did the damage, the left hook pushed him over.

 That Haymon shill/Donkey stalker Dubblequim derailing the thread and leaving a big trail of Donkey's spooge all over it.

Briedis is a CW who chooses to fight at CW level because CW level>>>>>>HW level

Yeah because it's like really rare for boxers to come in a bit heavier than the division limit of the weight class they plan on campaigning at early on in their career or when they don't have to make weight. Terry Crawford only actually fought at lightweight 6 times in his first 24 fights

Listen to what Kevin ''Kingpin'' Johnson has to say here about the difference between fighting up at CW level and down at HW level :deal:

Most HWs are big, stiff snail slow unskilled Herman Munster-esque bums who move like they're stuck in quicksand, whereas CWs are like MWs with HW power.

Most of the smaller HW's prob could look after their diet better and make CW if they wanted to. Mike Perez is a classic example..

This is why we smaller HW's getting roasted but CW's because their muscle mass is pretty much the same but they have less discipline and a extra 20 punds of fat to carry around..

I think he might have peaked in that fight. I was impressed by how much success his short right was having vs Usyk. Had it 7-5 to Usyk, and it was the toughest pro fight he's had in my book

Good fight, though I remember Usyk being a bit too multi dimensional for him.. Might watch it again, I think i scored it something like 8-4 Usyk... But competitive throughout. Might watch it again.

Usyk sets an insane tempo for a big man, & his footwork is beautiful.

That was a great fight. Fun to watch, both guys had their moments and both sustained a great work rate. Back and forth all night. I thought it really could of gone either way, but had Usyk edging it 115-113, but it easily could have been a draw or even a SD for Briedis wouldn’t have surprised me. Just a great, high level fight. We need a lot more fights like it. That’s what boxing is all about, man.

If heavyweights did not use PEDs or lifted a lot of weights, almost all of them would easily make cruiserweight if they were to cut until they were very lean along with 10-20 pounds of water. Instead we have a bunch of high body fat heavies or bulky ones with bodybuilder level muscles.

I would favor Briedis to beat Gassiev. Briedis is durable, a good puncher, and doesn’t have any quit in him, but his sloppiness cost him against Usyk. Against Gassiev he’d have a stationary target, which wouldn’t make for a good night for Gassiev.

Gassiev has more raw talent than Briedis, but is lazy and crumbles when he can’t runover his opponent
