looking forward to this fight. I see Molitor winning by UD. Caballeros height and akwardness could present some problems, but Molitor is the much more skilled boxer IMO, and should clearly outpoint him. Not that it will be one-sided, but a clear UD.

    Molitor all the way

BTW I'm glad Molitor is taking on a real challenge, the WBA champ Cabellero

Also i think there are some similarities between Molitor and Bute, and Larouche will do a great job with Molitor! Where in Montreal is he training?

Molitor wide UD.. The man cant be beat if he fights his fight..meaning dont get into a slugfest.

Caballero is aware that he will have to weight in the morning of the fight? There is no 24H weight in in Ontario.

This is great - I've been to his previous defenses vs 3K Battery and Castillo and won't miss this one! Biggest fight I'll have been to since Johnson-Klitschko at MSG. I assume tickets won't go on sale until after his August defence?

I'm VERY surprised. Under normal circumstances, I'd pick Caballero by close UD, but I'll pick Molitor by TKO here. The fight is in Toronto, and Ontario requires weigh-ins to be the same day as the fight. Caballero can barely walk at his weigh ins he drains so much to get to 118. Weakened, awkward and gangly Caballero will make a good target for Molitor, who should be able to box and move if Caballero can't fight back effectively.

Was thinking the exact same thing. I imagine that Marguiles knows the rules there, but still....

before Molitor had the whole issue with his promoter, it was said that some way the ontario commission was allowing an exception for this bout.

    read the 2nd paragraph

Caballero has picked it up since his last lost in May 2004. He raked up 10 wins 6 by T/KO's. He is the guy who gave Ponce De Leon his first lost . . . :D . . . it will be a good fight . . . caballero has all the advantages.

Molitor has the advantage of being a southpaw. Both of Caballero's losses have been at the hands of southpaws.
