If Pavlik takes like 15 flush shots from Abraham like he did Taylor, he probably isn't getting up, or if he does, probably falls down again.

Only thing is, Taylor has better handspeed than AA and can rip those combos quick.

    yeah, I agree
Because I do think Pavlik can take his shot, one at the time,(but he can be floored) without beeing KTFO, but he need to don't be hit flush in combinaison by Abraham, 'cause even Andrade would be KTFO after Abraham hit him with a couple of bomber flush back to back..

It will be more like a domination than a war
Its very fundamental really wide looping punches or straight punches
Do you really have to ask yourself which one gets there quicker? If so logout

    Pavlik KO7

Abraham may be slightly more skilled overall, but he has the height disadvantage. I think Kelly will be too prepared to get KOd and will take a close UD.

What make you say Abraham can take Pavlik's punch? are the people ******ed or what? Abraham has never faced a relentless heavy puncher as Pavlik who never back off
No Pavlik can't take Abraham's punch in combinaison flush hitting his chin all the time..who can?
A boxing fight is a lot more difficult to predict than : Better chin, Better power, so he win..that's a stupid logic
It's would like say : Prime RJJ vs Prime Andrade
RJJ cant take Andrade punch and Andrade can take RJJ punch so he win..
    what a ****** logic
and no, i'm no comparing RJJ to Pavlik

First, let me say that Pavlik and Abraham are definitely the best MWs right now and that this fight needs to happen. Much more important than Pavlik-Calzaghe or Pavlik-Kessler.

Abraham is a good fighter, but he has big flaws such as covering up too much and fighting in spurts, and even more blatant, he leaves himself terribly open after throwing punches. He's either fighting aggressive with no defense at all, throwing big punches and wild haymakers, or he's totally covering up by the ropes, letting his opponent unload on his (then tight) guard. I've seen many of his fights, it's always the same, and it was no different yesterday. Abraham has a very good coach, and I don't understand why they don't work on these flaws.

Pavlik would capitalize on these flaws and hit Abraham with big shots after Abraham leaves himself open. Another thing, Pavlik has a jab, while Abraham hasn't. Pavlik has also much better stamina than Abraham. And Pavlik is in a whole different league than Miranda.

Both are tough as nails SOBs and have a champion mentality, both are very confident and won't back down. They aren't afraid to trade and both have good punching power and good chins. This could well be a war, with Pavlik having the edge due to better overall skills and physical advantages. Abraham will come to win tho and have his moments, he will be game. Even tho both are big punchers, there's not going to be knockdowns, or at least no knockout, they are too tough.

In the end, imo Pavlik is the best MW while Abraham is the 2nd best, so I'll say Pavlik wins by UD in a war.

abraham can take big hits, he proofed it against edison miranda in the first fight, were he was several times hit on his broken jaw!!!
imo abraham will win by a brutal ko or he will lose on points. the fight will go like all fights of aa. the first two, three rounds he will stay only in his defense and let pavlik work and study him, than pavlik will take a big big shot from aa and become scarred and fight very defensely, so abraham will knock him out in the 8 or 9th round. i think that pavlik will try to stay up after getting brutally hit by abraham instead of take a knee and that will be his fault and end!

I simply do not understand the mind set that says Pavlik can only beat AA by decision. Pavlik has at least 6 guys on his resume' who had never been stopped until Pavlik stopped them. Taylor Fought better competiton than AA ever dreamed of, and Pavlik KOed him. Prior to the Pavlik fight McKart's only losses came at the championship level: Verno Phillips recently beat Spinks; McKart had a draw with Marquez in his last outing. Pavlik assholed McKart right quick. Zuniga has not lost since he lost to Pavlik, and he is now campaining with some success at 168.

Pavlik has a better resume, and a higher KO% than AA. Pavlik KO8 Abraham.

Pavlik is overrated. in the usa he is the king, because he gets hyped all the day. the american people see a good but not superb WHITE boxer, and they think oh my good this is our big big fighter and have much more sympathy for him. i don't say that he is bad, he is pretty good, but thats all. aa is toooooooo underrated in the usa. pavlik can't really take big hits, and thats the problem!!! because abraham is a monster hitter, he holds the world record in punching power in comparison to weight. imo this fight is not predictable. it can go this and the other way. and pavlik can of course knock him out in the late rounds, when abraham get tired and opens up to land a big one at pavlik. but it can go the other way, when pavlik get one good hit from abraham he will get scarred and stunned, and this is probably the best chance for abraham to knock him out.
