Might as well put this definition beside Floyd’s name in history books. Sums his career up perfectly edit: Not so much the who ducked who Pac-Man debate but as far as quality of opponents
Easier said than done. Everybody thought they could do the same in training camp then got schooled. I think Duran could give Floyd trouble and vice versa. Duran struggled against slicksters, but Floyd did have problems with fighters a lot more crude that Duran. Maidana gave him big problems and so did Castillo. Floyd was past it against Maidana but Duran is much better than Maidana. Hard to say.
I agree, JLC and Chino did give Floyd issues in the first fights. The rematches were different. Not making excuses for Floyd as to his performances in the first fights, but I honestly believe he under estimated those guys for whatever reason. I say only a fool would under estimate a prime Duran. Floyd may be many things, he may even be a fool outside the ring, but once he steps between those ropes, his real boxing genius shines. He would not have taken a prime Duran litely. I can't say who wins between them. Both prime versions of these guys on their best days have enough to beat anyone.
Dude Maidana outweighed him by close to 20 lbs, I mean I understand the general idea but Duran isn’t coming in that heavy.
Even in the rematches, Catillo won 5 rounds and Maidana won 4 or 5 rounds. Check the scorecards. To think Duran would lose to Mayweather is unrealistic at best.
You are a sad little boy. You judge fmj only off his worst performances but fighters you love get to excuse all their loses away, that's smg fmj knows nothing about since when ???
