Kownacki looks likely to be next for Wilder in November/December, who you got?

Kownacki wins via KO inside 4 rounds

I like Kownacki but Wilder will take him out. Kownacki throws and throws and throws but he gets hit solidly way too often. It's like he has disdain for defense. Wilder is too powerful. Kownacki can take a lot of damage but he won't be able to withstand several of Wilder's power shots.

Well what kownacki would need to do is to declare war at the very first ring of the bell. Wilder needs a lot of rounds to get going. You saw that with fury and with ortiz and so on.

I actually think the likes of Kownacki and Andy Ruiz Jnr. especially, would give Wilder all kinds of problems because Wilder usually starts so damn slow and tentatively, that a high work rate, come forward pressure fighter with a decent bit of pop and decent durability, could shake up Wilder and get rid of him pretty early.

I think it's all about how confident you are when you go in with a banger like Wilder. If you go in with the solemn intent of KO'ing him early, bringing your own storm rather than weathering his, Wilder is a KO waiting to happen.

Kownacki is too easy to hit and while he seems to have a decent chin he'll get broken down and stopped inside 8 rounds or sooner.

I'd give Kownacki a better shot than Breazeale. Although he isn't quite as heavy-handed, he's got faster hands and a more consistent pressure style that he works behind the jab, and while his defence isn't stellar, it's better than Breazeale's. At the very least, Wilder has to take a lot of punishment to get the win if he can't catch Kownacki early.

This match would resemble bowling a split with one pin left.

Deontay Wilder has yet to knock out a guy who wasn't a bum or 50 years old. Wilder landed flush over and over against guys like beat up Chris Arreola and couldn't really put him away. The corner or ref had to stop it. Kownacki and Wilder fought two common opponents. Gerald Washington and Artur Spilzka. Kownacki destroyed these guys much easier than Wilder did. I would favor Kownacki over Wilder.

Kownacki is very underrated, But how he would fare against Wilder is questionable. It depends on how much rhythm he can get in his punches and how much Wilder will be affected by them.

But yes, Kownacki vs Wilder is the best fight besides Joshua/Fury because of how unpredictable it would be. I think Wilder would win though.

The pole clearly can't punch as he went full rounds with Charles Martin. Charles fking Martin the clown AJ smoked.
